Signs of the Times
The thesis of this study concerns the rebel in revolt against God, in contrast to the upright and righteous faithful in obedience to God, these together in judgment ending foretold when this rebel is cast into the Lake of Fire, the faithful to receive grace as salvation into the eternal family of God. Then follows this study concerning the covenants of God with His creation called man, according to the word of God we call Old and New Testament, to be validated by each as instructed. The actual study "Israel of This Earthage" does not begin until after eight paragraphs of this preface and introduction, you may if you wish skip directly to the study.
Replacement Theology (Christians replace Jews as chosen) is not found supported within the Bible and so not discussed in this study, however within the entire Bible the New Covenant is described properly. Dispensationalists (Systematic) and Dual Covenant (separate ways to salvation), who believe God is bringing back today Jewish people into a State of Israel, or ordains a Temple be built in Israel before the coming of the Messiah, is certainly contrary to both Old and New Testament. Instead both Old and New Testament describes creations called New Heaven and New Earth replacing the old order, also that God establishes His Sanctuary within this New Earth and Israel where is found the New Jerusalem (creation) called the home of righteousness. Concerning the writings of man, these are not above the true and inspired Word of God we call the Bible, nor is the Judaic Hebrew 'Jerusalem School of Synoptic Research' having include the New Testament more understandable because derived from original Hebrew. The Holy Spirit of God is the only need for spiritually discerning the inspired word of God. Nothing will happen in Gods creation unless God ordains or permits for a time.
Covenant of God -
God did not establish a covenant as a religion among a nation or race, but a covenant accepted by the Abrahamic Hebrew people and God. If we give name to these chosen in origin beginning covenant agreement with God and call them Isreali or Jewish, then indeed these faithful we may cherish with all of our heart. Yet if among this people live those in rebellion that revolt against God giving themselves the name Zionist, so be it, and this also found true. Those faithful today with temporarily hardened heart speak of Zionism being in revolt against God, creating their own secular and political State, saying for this reason these cannot speak for the Jewish people. Who then would not honor those God calls His people, who would be those that call themselves a Hebrew (Jew), but are not.
The State of Israel re-created by man described in scripture is certainly permitted by God, however fulfilling prophecy foretold in the Book of Luke saying, Jerusalem (symbolic Israel) of this age will be surrounded with Satan's Gog and Magog army, here desolation begins as a time of punishment in fulfillment for all that has been written. Here a ruler of abomination will have begun a short but false peace, followed instead with wars until the end.
A word of caution concerning those calling themselves Orthodox or ultra orthodox Jewish or Rabbi, if they exclude the Torah for Talmudic and mans teaching of calling forth actions most egregious in vain of Gods word, their claim is then invalid, and instead deception in belief. This Baghdad Talmud is said a compilation of the Mishnah and Gemara, but is actually a compilation of a number of books, none found in the Hebrew Tanakh. Of interest also, the English word Jew or Jewish is not found in literature, nor bible before the 17th century, and then from some purpose translation found in some passages replacing original Yahuda, Juda, Judah, Judea, Jude, Judaea... among others. This an apparent attempt to confuse those unbelieving rebel as being the true faithful people of God.
Three important points need be understood, Christianity is a faith in origin began by Christ Jesus (Hebrew - Yeshu'a, Greek - Iesous), appointing Disciples. It may be noted some believe Luke was a Gentile supported more upon long held assumption than adequate and concrete fact, and it was these disciple Jesus sent out first to the lost sheep of the house of Israel told in Matthew 10:5-6 "Do not go into the way of the Gentiles, and do not enter a city of the Samaritans. But go rather to the lost sheep of the house of Israel." The second point being in John 18:36 'Jesus said, "My kingdom is not of this world. If it were, my servants would fight to prevent my arrest by the Jews. But now my kingdom is from another place,'" meaning the Kingdom Promise of old is Gods' Paradise then as now found in heaven, spiritual Eden likened to Gods Garden or Paradise within heaven. Third and important, neither is the Kingdom a political system of rulers found in this earth age, Christ rebuked the Pharisee's concerning such misunderstanding saying in Luke 17:20-21 "Jesus replied, "The kingdom of God does not come with your careful observation, nor will people say, 'Here it is,' or 'There it is,' because the kingdom of God is within you."
The Lord is not gathering saints into a Kingdom of this earth, about which we are told shall be destroyed, Christ described the eternal place of spiritual abode in John 14:2-4 "In my Father's house are many rooms; if it were not so, I would have told you. I am going there to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come back and take you to be with me that you also may be where I am." This Kingdom is Paradise called the New Jerusalem in heaven, after the destruction of earth this New Jerusalem comes down or is revealed out of heaven, the new earth described as yet without a sea (people) gives understanding to the saints as the bride described in Revelation 21:2-3 "I saw the Holy City, the new Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, prepared as a bride beautifully dressed for her husband." Within the new Jerusalem, wherein also is Gods' Sanctuary (or Temple), forever, all is fulfilled as proclaimed at the White Throne proclamation "I am making all things new." I believe the Temple made by the hand of God is found today in heaven or spiritually on earth, having no inner wall of separation, as the man made walls of the past.
About the twelve tribes, these tribes after Solomon divided into the Northern House of Israel (ten tribes), and the Southern House of Judah (two tribes). Of these two it was the House of Israel around 721BC that were conquered and carried off to Assyria, not to return. Christ however spoke of these two symbolically as two sons (Matthew 21:28-32, Luke 15:11-32). The books of James and 1Peter open speaking of these ten scattered tribes, implying faithfulness. About the two Houses yet divided, Ezekiel 37:15-30 describes these symbolically as two sticks, these in the last or end days will be brought back together.
It appears then, at the time of Christ's ministry it was some of the House of Judah that had returned, with perhaps but a few from the Northern tribes fleeing South during the time of conquer, and why Christ spoke primarily of and to the Judaean (Jew). Also important, after these scattering's of both Houses, it was taught from Torah that God had imposed three vows upon the scattered people, the first vow being they not re-establish Israel in Palestine. This does not mean that some from both House's did not return to their 'homeland', in fact around the times of the crusades there were about 300,000 living within settlements in peace with Palestine Arab, Christian, and after 600AD Muslim neighbors. All during the scattering and yet today, it has been a daily prayer "tomorrow Israel", regardless for almost 2000 years no attempt was made between 70AD until the 1900's to re-establish Israel in Palestine.
About the rebel in revolt re-establishing today a political State of Israel in Palestine, these rejecting the Messiah of Tanakh (Old Testament) prophesy. The faithful instead believe the true re-gathering into eternal Israel is accomplish by the Messiah, and in the end of Last Days. Read the following scripture that continues today honored by those keeping faith in obedience, notice the scattered are first brought into New Covenant, after which those that rebel and revolt against God are judged and purged. These purged will not enter eternal Israel, told in Ezekiel 20:32-38 "'You say, "We want to be like the nations, like the peoples of the world, who serve wood and stone." But what you have in mind will never happen. As surely as I live, declares the Sovereign Lord, I will rule over you with a mighty hand and an outstretched arm and with outpoured wrath. I will bring you from the nations and gather you from the countries where you have been scattered with a mighty hand and an outstretched arm and with outpoured wrath. I will bring you into the desert of the nations and there, face to face, I will execute judgment upon you. As I judged your fathers in the desert of the land of Egypt, so I will judge you, declares the Sovereign Lord. I will take note of you as you pass under my rod, and I will bring you into the bond of the covenant. I will purge you of those who revolt and rebel against me. Although I will bring them out of the land where they are living, yet they will not enter the land of Israel. Then you will know that I am the Lord." Is there anyone that does not know, that Christ brought in the New Covenant?
The Zionist being those in rebellion, claiming to be all twelve tribes of Israel, claiming all the promises for Israel and Jerusalem, are as Ephraim prophesied like drunkard's wielding power over their (a little here a little there) ever expanding State. Following instead a path to destruction foretold in Isaiah 28:1-15 "Woe to that wreath, the pride of Ephraim's drunkards, to the fading flower, his glorious beauty, set on the head of a fertile valley to that city, the pride of those laid low by wine! See, the Lord has one who is powerful and strong. Like a hailstorm and a destructive wind, like a driving rain and a flooding downpour, he will throw it forcefully to the ground. That wreath, the pride of Ephraim's drunkards, will be trampled underfoot. That fading flower, his glorious beauty, set on the head of a fertile valley, will be like a fig ripe before harvest as soon as someone sees it and takes it in his hand, he swallows it. In that day the Lord Almighty will be a glorious crown, a beautiful wreath for the remnant of his people. He will be a spirit of justice to him who sits in judgment, a source of strength to those who turn back the battle at the gate. And these also stagger from wine and reel from beer: Priests and prophets stagger from beer and are befuddled with wine; they reel from beer, they stagger when seeing visions, they stumble when rendering decisions. All the tables are covered with vomit and there is not a spot without filth. "Who is it he is trying to teach? To whom is he explaining his message? To children weaned from their milk, to those just taken from the breast? For it is: Do and do, do and do, rule on rule, rule on rule; a little here, a little there." Very well then, with foreign lips and strange tongues God will speak to this people, to whom he said, "This is the resting place, let the weary rest" ; and, "This is the place of repose" but they would not listen. So then, the word of the Lord to them will become: Do and do, do and do, rule on rule, rule on rule; a little here, a little there so that they will go and fall backward, be injured and snared and captured. Therefore hear the word of the Lord, you scoffers who rule this people in Jerusalem. You boast, "We have entered into a covenant with death, with the grave we have made an agreement. When an overwhelming scourge sweeps by, it cannot touch us, for we have made a lie our refuge and falsehood our hiding place."
In the above is described prophetically the rebellious generation where in earlier time was found a remnant, and from this remnant came one powerful and strong. God describes among those we call Jewish, was found both the remnant elect as Chosen in Covenant agreement, and also were found the Rebel in revolt serving another god. Here the land of rest never fully entered in covenant was finally broken. However now through Chrst, God promises a new rest in Heb 4:8-11 "For if Joshua had given them rest, God would not have spoken later about another day. There remains, then, a Sabbath rest for the people of God; for anyone who enters God's rest also rests from his own work, just as God did from his. Let us, therefore, make every effort to enter that rest, so that no one will fall by following their example of disobedience." And so there are a remnant of the devout elect in this man made land today called the State of Israel, some before having not left during the scattering, others having returned over the centuries. About this man made land and great delusion prophesied, in the end days as told in Daniel will be made a covenant with death. This same, a lie, will be mistaken for a short time as righteous peace, yet under rulers as prophesied involved in war's until the very end. About these rebel as secular few naming themselves in year-1897 the Zionist Congress, using Britain and America in deception to establish their State of Israel in Palestine, regardless the word of God remains resolute in Ezek 20:32 "'You say, "We want to be like the nations, like the peoples of the world, who serve wood and stone." But what you have in mind will never happen.'"
This is warning about false teaching that God has ordained a State of Israel yet in this earth age. Certainly God is allowing a man made State of Israel by unbeliever core of rulers under Rothschild-Usury called Zionist, this want of a political State in Palestine by this newly formed Zionist in year-1897, rejected at that time by devout Jewish leaders, these Zionist then in rebellion naming their government as a Zionist Congress and Zionist Supreme Court, with leader's that continue without ending Zionist goals that most today call Apartheid. To our shame even some Christian Bible scholars say 'God is bringing back Jewish into Israel today'. What will be found at the end of this earth age about Israel as symbolic Jerusalem is told in Luke 21:20-22 "When you see Jerusalem being surrounded by armies (Satans Gog and Magog army) , you will know that its desolation is near... For this is the time of punishment in fulfillment of all that has been written."
Next time a teacher or preacher uses scripture to say God is gathering Jewish into a State of Israel today, read his scripture choices very closely. Most will include building a temple (or temple that should have been built, if), you will find they are using scripture clearly describing past re-gatherings having already occurred, or scripture clearly involving the future and eternal Israel that is to come after the "Last Days" of this earth age, certainly denying New Testament concerning the Temple and church (assembly, body, congregation). Concerning the Jerusalem yet of this earth age, the Apostle concerning Jerusalem where they were camped said in Hebrews 13:14 "For here we do not have an enduring city, but we are looking for the city that is to come." 2 Peter 3:13 "But in keeping with his promise we are looking forward to a new heaven and a new earth, the home of righteousness."
From the time of the scattering beginning 70AD Jewish leaders have until this very day rejected all rebellious demands to re-establish Israel in Palestine, instead from the Torah is prophesied that in the last days their Messiah will re-gather those yet living and scattered within all nations into a new Covenant, and after judgment a remnant-elect will be gathered into (eternal) Israel forever. This new covenant promise is described in Jeremiah 31:31-32 "The time is coming," declares the LORD, "when I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel and with the house of Judah. It will not be like the covenant I made with their forefathers when I took them by the hand to lead them out of Egypt, because they broke my covenant, though I was a husband to them," declares the LORD. Christ now describes the way to salvation for those under law and those under grace, John 14:6 "Jesus answered, "I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me."
Today the greatest devout Jewish population in obedience remained scattered among the nations, this prophetically testified in Hebrews 11:15-16 "If they had been thinking of the country they had left, they would have had opportunity to return. Instead, they were longing for a better country a heavenly one." Just as Abram began in obedience sought not his own kingdom, but as described in Hebrews 11:10 "For he was looking forward to the city with foundations, whose architect and builder is God." Of these scattered from the land of Israel, of whom Paul advise have hardened hearts yet not rejected by God, how then does God bring them to Him in grace, perhaps the following verse may give some hint, Rom 2:12-13 "All who sin apart from the law will also perish apart from the law, and all who sin under the law will be judged by the law. For it is not those who hear the law who are righteous in God's sight, but it is those who obey the law who will be declared righteous." Note in this verse translated as 'who obey the law', the origional Greek NT4163 'poietes' translates more accurately as 'doers of the law'.
Eternal Israel described 'living in peace' will not be found during this earth age, Satan will first be released after which an abomination brings desolations to the (State of) Israel symbolically described as Jerusalem. Before this in the 'last days' prophetically described in Daniel 12:11 as 1335 days into the last week, God will unite the two Houses now divided and gather those yet living scattered in all nations into the wilderness of these nations, placing them into a New Covenant. Then in judgment are removed those that rebel and revolt against God, these are purged leaving a remnant that will be brought into eternal Israel. Understand clearly not one chosen will be left behind yet scattered in another nation or called the lost tribes. Concerning the devout Jewish called the upright and righteous, having died but held strong in faith to their coming Messiah. Try understand scripture telling of Christ in the depth preaching/proclaiming, and after, those faithful in Sheol being part in the first resurrection... also remember New Testament teaching this resurrection continues unabated this very day.
The first part of this presentation is titled" ISRAEL of PROPHECY", and this is scripture study describing Israel of this earth age and the Israel of prophecy, the later prophetic Israel being the eternal Israel spoken of as new creations. The second part is "ISRAEL of TODAY" providing important statistics regarding present-day State of Israel. These two presentations are intended to give necessary and important background relating one to the other. The second part will concern secular Zionism and Zionist-government of Israel, a State and government began by a small number of Ashkenazi non-believing Jewish converts, breaking a two thousand year obedience and teaching from the Torah as vow's in which the first is that the people-Israel must wait for the Messiah and not attempt to re-establish Israel in Palestine. I hope also to show that much is not as first appears, or often taught and commonly believed, and as the Lord commanded of those sent out (and I stress most urgently), we are therefore to be as wise in these matters as the serpent. Israel today is not a land, it is a people, the apple of Gods eye New Jerusalem is yet found in heaven. This article provides no answers, only warning, the answers that leave no doubt or error will be found in the Word of the Bible. Last I hope to inspire spiritual eye's and ear's regardless how often you've heard otherwise, good does not come out of evil because only evil comes out of evil, and good comes only from our Lord and Savior through God the Father.
Scripture to follow regarding prophecy is very seldom quoted by the false Jew called Zionist or their apologist's, the following scripture will be important conditional verse describing conditions that first must be met concerning prophetic future events such as the people Israel being re-gathered from the nations in which they remain scattered to this day. Praise God for this present time given for the fulfillment of the Gentile made possible because of the devout Jewish in faith obedient to God and their Torah, from this I came to know the living God, because of this I will be forever grateful to these Hebrew people who have suffered so greatly. Many teach Israel the State of today is a good sign, some will suggest a red-heifer is a sign, from my research and Bible study that follows this will be shown as untrue. What God allows of natural man seldom is the best of Gods purpose, although for a time will be allowed to fulfill His good purpose.
ISRAEL of PROPHECY
Before beginning, this study is meant to encourage you to seek for yourselves in Gods word answers concerning the following, are there two New Covenants God will make, one for Gentile, and one for the Chosen people called Israel. Are there more than one Messiah, one for the chosen-Israel, and one for the Gentile. Do Bible verse's say all of the Jewish people-Israel will be brought into eternal Israel, or does all refer only to a remnant elect that remain faithful. Within the eternal Israel will the nations disappear indicating a diverse people and tongues disappear as described Psalms 10:16, remember the leaves of trees [Rev 22:2] that will heal nations had purpose. Will saints rule over an unredeemed after Christ returns, isn't this the mistaken belief taught to the chosen and why they rejected Christ as the true Messiah. No, at the return of Christ as Messiah [NIV]Matthew 23:30-31 says Christ will send the angels to gather all of the saints from the four winds, from one end of the heavens to the other, and John in Revelations describing this as beneath the Throne.
Certainly the saints will also judge, but didn't Christ warn concerning ruling at present that instead we are to serve. Scripture tells us God did not bring the chosen out of Egypt as rulers, but as told in 1 Peter 2:9-10 "But you are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation...", certainly the Levi did not rule but instead served. Did not Christ describe salvation now by grace as the new covenant for all, beginning first with the lost sheep of Israel, but halted for a time that the Gentile line first be fulfilled. And last, is there a land called Israel that is to be destroyed along with heavens and earth, and does this mean God is not gathering Jewish-People into a land named today a State of Israel, but in fact it is man calling themselves Zionist gathering as themselves predominantly secular. These and many other questions will be covered with comments and scripture that you need study for yourselves.
To start I ask you to be aware and keep in mind scripture from both Old and New Testament, scripture describing the chosen as a rebellious people that remain scattered to this day. Being scattered does not mean the remnant-elect yet hardened of heart are rejected by God as told in Romans 11:2 "God did not reject his people, whom he foreknew..." , however concerning "whom he foreknew" that rebel against and reject God, these when re-gathered from the nations will be purged from Gods people as told in Ezekiel 20:38 "Although I will bring them out of the land where they are living, yet they will not enter the land of Israel." Today scholars and theologian's will say re-establishing Sodom a city once evil would be bad, but re-establishing Israel as a State since it once held Gods people, regardless God scattered these people, that this would be good. Instead there are those of flesh that revolt against God, and those of spirit in faith obedient to God, this is explained in John 3:6-7 "Flesh gives birth to flesh, but the Spirit gives birth to spirit." This study will try to show the difference between a State of Israel now established and living in flesh nature greatly disobedient to Torah and God, and the true eternal Israel or true children of God being a people of spirit through Gods grace that will be brought into the New and eternal Jerusalem yet found in heaven.
Paul laments wishing he himself could be cut off for his brothers, meaning the people Israel whose hearts are yet hardened in flesh nature as described in Rom 9:2-3 "...that I have great sorrow and continual grief in my heart. 3 For I could wish that I myself were accursed from Christ for my brethren, my countrymen according to the flesh, those of my own race, the people of Israel." Paul then describes the difference between the spiritual Israel of faith and the natural Israel yet of flesh, and of these who the true children of God as described in Romans 9:6-7 "For not all who are descended from Israel are Israel. Nor because they are his descendants are they all Abraham's children." And finally Paul describes who are Gods Israel or spiritual children of promise in Romans 9:8 "In other words, it is not the natural children who are God's children, but it is the children of the promise who are regarded as Abraham's offspring." The new State of Israel is of the flesh, this born not of God but literally by secular man of flesh, scripture tells us about this Israel where desolation and punishment begins leading to final judgment of all the wicked foretold in Luke 21:20-22 "When you see Jerusalem being surrounded by armies, you will know that its desolation is near... For this is the time of punishment in fulfillment of all that has been written." Yes a remnant of the obedient people from the State of Israel find sanctuary, find out why it will be only an obedient and faithful remnant that anoint the Most Holy, discover also what is encompassed as all of Israel at this last hour.
Today it is common to hear unconditional-verse used to teach falsely that God today is re-gathering the scattered people back into a secular State of Israel, the verse used most often is Ezekiel 11:17 "Therefore say: 'This is what the Sovereign LORD says: I will gather you from the nations and bring you back from the countries where you have been scattered, and I will give you back the land of Israel again.'" Never mentioning the conditional-verse concerning this re-gathering into New Covenant and eternal Israel called the New Jerusalem, or about those that rebel and revolt against God described in Ezekiel 13:9-10 or Ezekiel 20:34-38 "I will bring you from the nations and gather you from the countries where you have been scattered-with a mighty hand and an outstretched arm and with outpoured wrath. Then you will know that I am the LORD." Keep in mind during this presentation, Israel of this earth age as kingdoms during different periods was found in different sizes with Solomon's kingdom the largest. Regardless the land Israel is but a very small part of the Promised Land, and Israel of prophecy in the future known as the new earth age is where will be fulfilled all decrees and events concerning the Promised Land.
It is apparent from scripture why no mention of when the re-gathering begins, Christ made this clear in Matthew 23:37-39 "O Jerusalem, Jerusalem, you who kill the prophets and stone those sent to you, how often I have longed to gather your children together, as a hen gathers her chicks under her wings, but you were not willing. Look, your house is left to you desolate. For I tell you, you will not see me again until you say, 'Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord.'" And this will occur for those yet living as foretold in Hosea 3:4-5 "Afterward the Israelites will return and seek the LORD their God and David their king. They will come trembling to the LORD and to his blessings in the last days." The true Jewish people scattered among the nations understood these truths, taught from the Torah by their Rabbi, Sage's and holy men saying only the Messiah when He comes would accomplish the re-gathering and re-establishing of Israel. Never once in two thousand years did the Jewish people consider re-establishing Israel themselves, that is until secular Zionists who apparently tired of waiting for a God whom they no longer believed. The warning concerning whom we receive leadership made clear in Matthew 23:8-12 "But you are not to be called 'Rabbi,' for you have only one Master and you are all brothers. And do not call anyone on earth 'father,' for you have one Father, and he is in heaven. Nor are you to be called 'teacher,' for you have one Teacher, the Christ. The greatest among you will be your servant. For whoever exalts himself will be humbled, and whoever humbles himself will be exalted."
Today there is a State of Israel established by man and fully engaged in the ways of man. Today a secular Zionist-Gov is the political body whose worldly history of egregious accomplishments will be covered in detail within the second part of this presentation called 'Israel of Today'. Today a Zionist people have wandered from the path God set and follow a path set for the rebellious, these calling themselves Zionist no longer wait for the Messiah, this Zionist State provide for themselves the same as people described long ago in Ezekiel 20:32 "'You say, "We want to be like the nations, like the peoples of the world, who serve wood and stone." But what you have in mind will never happen." Some will tell you there is no entity called the Zionist-Gov, however the same will have no qualm calling it a democracy, and in this democracy is found a Zionist Congress, a Zionist Supreme Court, and an Executive that for many years now continues to proceed with their original Palestinian displacement policies of Zionism in which 90% of the land acquired is owned by the Zionist State. The re-gathering of both Israel and Judah begins in the last days under a new everlasting covenant, starting in the man made Israel and spreading to all of the scattered as told in Jeremiah 50:4-5 In those days, at that time,"declares the LORD,"the people of Israel and the people of Judah together will go in tears to seek the LORD their God. They will ask the way to Zion and turn their faces toward it. They will come and bind themselves to the LORD in an everlasting covenant that will not be forgotten."
The new order is where Israel has a new Jerusalem, found upon a new heavens and new earth, this will be much different than the old order of earth or Israel. Nor is it a return to corruption as the old bodies of corruptible flesh. This new earth has a river of Living Water and tree's much like those in the garden of Eden, evident as to why Gods Paradise that comes down or is revealed out of heaven is sometimes referred to as Gods garden. In Genesis of creation God after finishing creation said it was very good. Corruption then resulted in Satan and a third of the angels cast out of heaven, also man corrupting himself and the earth. In the first covenant in Ex 19:6 God tells us He finally leads the chosen out of captivity of Egypt for purpose, if they kept covenant they were all to be priest's and a holy people serving God. The people however chose Moses to be their priest, beginning a road to complete disobedience. Slowly their desires turned worldly as described in Ezekiel 20:32 "'You say, "We want to be like the nations, like the peoples of the world, who serve wood and stone." But what you have in mind will never happen.'" Eventually the people broke covenant with God, and God turned His face away from them. God then established a new covenant, in Rev 1:6 we learn that the saints will now be both Jew and Gentile, these will keep His new covenant and will be the kingdom and priest's that for eternity serve God. Here there will be no more night, nor suffering nor pain, and sun or moon or lamp is no longer needed for God will give them light.
There is good reason to validate everything received by checking it with the entire word in the Bible, here is dire warning that everyone should take very seriously and appears prophetic for today, this concerns those that mislead, and those misled, described in Jeremiah 14:14-18 "Then the LORD said to me, "The prophets are prophesying lies in my name. I have not sent them or appointed them or spoken to them. They are prophesying to you false visions, divinations, idolatries and the delusions of their own minds. Therefore, this is what the LORD says about the prophets who are prophesying in my name: I did not send them, yet they are saying, 'No sword or famine will touch this land.' Those same prophets will perish by sword and famine. And the people they are prophesying to will be thrown out into the streets of Jerusalem because of the famine and sword. There will be no one to bury them or their wives, their sons or their daughters. I will pour out on them the calamity they deserve. "Speak this word to them: "'Let my eyes overflow with tears night and day without ceasing; for my virgin daughter--my people--has suffered a grievous wound, a crushing blow. If I go into the country, I see those slain by the sword; if I go into the city, I see the ravages of famine. Both prophet and priest have gone to a land they know not.'"
Concerning Daniel 9:25-27 tells of the 70-week prophecy, it is apparent here is both a natural having already occurred, and spiritual interpretation yet to happen. Verse-26 indicates an evident break between 69-weeks, picked up and re-capped in verse-27 adding the last 1-week of this prophecy. It does not speak of a Temple destroyed, but of a city and sanctuary, of this sanctuary more probable a sanctified place being an alter similar to before the second Temple being built when a sanctified place was established for an altar alone on which to sacrifice. Verse-27 then re-caps saying a covenant is made for 1-week, however mid-week sacrifices are ended and instead an abomination described as set up in Matthew 24:15 "So when you see standing in the holy place 'the abomination that causes desolation,' spoken of through the prophet Daniel.." , meaning the abomination is Satan himself described in 2 Thessalonians 2:4 "He will oppose and will exalt himself over everything that is called God or is worshiped, so that he sets himself up in God's temple, proclaiming himself to be God." And here the Temple (with sanctuary-altar in a wing-edge or border area) is not Herod's Temple remnant, of which Christ said not one stone would be left upon another. Instead is described a Ft. Antonia in which Roman soldiers garrisoned while tearing down the Temple of Herod.
The last week (Daniel 70-week prophecy) of 7-years is divided in two equal parts, the first part referred to as the Great Tribulation, after a total of 1,335 days beyond these first 3½ years or Great Tribulations, a new covenant people are saved described in Revelation 7:14 "These are the ones who come out of the great tribulation..." , additionally in Daniel 12:11-12 "From the time that the daily sacrifice is abolished and the abomination that causes desolation is set up, there will be 1,290 days. Blessed is the one who waits for and reaches the end of the 1,335 days." These very likely the remnant elect of the chosen yet living and scattered that must wait the Return of the Messiah. When Satan is released to be ruler of earth for a short time, the 'people' of this ruler would then be Gog and Magog from all past ages that when attacking Jerusalem God will destroy as described in Rev-20. We are told in Daniel 9:26 "... the people of the ruler who will come will destroy the city and the sanctuary." What will happen to Jerusalem is in this future time, about this we are told in Luke 21:22:"For this is the time of punishment in fulfillment of all that has been written." Certainly there are Jewish in the State of Israel obedient to God, many having existed in Palestine living in peace since 70AD with their Arab neighbor, long before arrival of the secular Zionist, and these obedient will surely be among the remnant that the Messiah brings back into bond of new eternal Covenant and into eternal Israel. In this future time as prophecy tells us it will not be to rebuild (meaning repair) cities that along with the earth were destroyed, they will rebuild anew cities within the new creations told of in Isaiah. 65:17-19 "...new creations...of heavens... earth... and Jerusalem."
Also remember scripture that tells of prophecies concerning destruction, perishing, or passing away of that which can be shaken of both our present heaven and earth ( to see Bible dictionary description's of these words in scripture click here ). Concerning this destruction, it is not as described of earth in Noah's flood, this is made clear in Genesis 6:16-17 "I am going to bring floodwaters on the earth to destroy all life under the heavens, every creature that has the breath of life in it. Everything on earth will perish." Also as is common with prophecy, there is often a natural or literal interpretation, also a spiritual or super natural interpretation.
With this in mind consider that after Christ gathers His own that are the last of those yet living, a period begins on this earth when not one righteous or redeemed person will be found upon earth, and it is then that peace is taken away from the earth beginning end time Desolations and Gods wrath. There is mention of saints that Satan conquers in Revelation 13:7 "He was given power to make war against the saints and to conquer them. And he was given authority over every tribe, people, language and nation." However it is made clear these do not belong to the Lord Jesus, described in the following verse Revelation 13:8 "All inhabitants of the earth will worship the beast-all whose names have not been written in the book of life belonging to the Lamb that was slain from the creation of the world." Certainly those remaining to be conquered would include saints (carnal) described in the Bible as neither hot nor cold, and of whom God says Revelation 3:16 "So, because you are lukewarm neither hot nor cold I am about to spit you out of my mouth." Also concerning Israel of this earth age, the Bible makes clear the only peace (the State of) Israel will have, will be that made in agreement with the Abomination that brings desolation, during the prophesied 70th week.
Prophecy of both end times and Israel are pivotal in relation to understanding the White Throne decree of "I am making everything new." This prophecy is then fulfilled within the New Heaven and New Earth where will be found the New Jerusalem, the New Jerusalem coming down out of heaven with the bride. Before this keep in mind scripture and many hymn's that tell how today our God reigns, yet a time is coming (after the prophetic 7x7 and 62x7 or during the 70th-Week having both a natural and spiritual interpretation) that for a short period Satan is given reign over this earth as ruler described in Daniel 9:26 "After the sixty-two 'sevens,' the Anointed One will be cut off and will have nothing. The people of the ruler who will come will destroy the city and the sanctuary." Note that it is the 'people' of the ruler first revealed not Satan, also the sanctuary to be destroyed as told of in Daniel-9 is described found in a border area or wing-edge of a temple, this will be covered later. In Deuteronomy-30 God tells the people a time is coming when He will set before them life and death, here they will individually be judged, in this period the scattered remnant of Israel return to God in repentance. Only then does God gather the chosen remnant called the elect out of the desert/wilderness of the nations where they were scattered, bringing them back by His grace into a New Covenant and the Promised Land of Israel forever. Other passages telling of only a remnant who return to Israel are Isaiah 10:20-23, Isa 37:32 , and Romans 9:27-28.
Some will quote scripture in part and out of context as though yet to be accomplished, such as Psalms 105:8-11 "He remembers his covenant forever, the word he commanded, for a thousand generations, the covenant he made with Abraham, the oath he swore to Isaac. He confirmed it to Jacob as a decree, to Israel as an everlasting covenant: "To you I will give the land of Canaan as the portion you will inherit." Forgetting to mention scripture showing God did keep the Covenant, did bring the people to the promised land and did confirm it to Jacob as a decree, but forgetting to mention that the people finally turned away from God breaking the covenant, and God turning his face from them and scattering them out of the land into all of the nations. The promises and Covenant that God did make with the people, and the people that did in faith keep as a Covenant with God, these will all see every promise made by God come to pass, God is not a liar. For those after, God has made a new covenant, and those that keep this as did those of the first covenant will all see their Messiah and the Kingdom to come with their Lord God for ever after.
To this day has anyone and especially the Zionist followed the Lords command regarding the alien also allotted portions of the Promised Land, pay special attention to the last part in reading Ezekiel 47:13-23 This is what the Sovereign LORD says: "These are the boundaries by which you are to divide the land for an inheritance among the twelve tribes of Israel, with two portions for Joseph. You are to divide it equally among them. Because I swore with uplifted hand to give it to your forefathers, this land will become your inheritance... You are to allot it as an inheritance for yourselves and for the aliens who have settled among you and who have children. You are to consider them as native-born Israelites; along with you they are to be allotted an inheritance among the tribes of Israel. In whatever tribe the alien settles, there you are to give him his inheritance, declares the Sovereign LORD." Instead is quoted verse from Ezekiel of God fulfilling His promise of the land in which he will regather the "remnant", but look what God has said in Zechariah 8:14-17 'This is what the Lord Almighty says: "Just as I had determined to bring disaster upon you and showed no pity when your fathers angered me," says the Lord Almighty, "so now I have determined to do good again to Jerusalem and Judah. Do not be afraid. These are the things you are to do: Speak the truth to each other, and render true and sound judgment in your courts; do not plot evil against your neighbor, and do not love to swear falsely. I hate all this," declares the Lord."
Few appear aware of Gods command concerning aliens in these lands, described in Leviticus 19:33-34 "'When an alien lives with you in your land, do not mistreat him. The alien living with you must be treated as one of your native-born. Love him as yourself, for you were aliens in Egypt. I am the LORD your God." Regarding the allotted land described earlier, how often is quoted this warning, Deuteronomy 19:14 "Do not move your neighbor's boundary stone set up by your predecessors in the inheritance you receive in the land the LORD your God is giving you to possess." Here is the penalty God said they would receive if not keeping righteousness within the land, Leviticus 18:28 "And if you defile the land, it will vomit you out as it vomited out the nations that were before you." Remembered also, this land (Israel) does not belong to the people, this God declared in Leviticus 25:23-24 "The land must not be sold permanently, because the land is mine and you are but aliens and my tenants." Then of the 'alien' that received land as inheritance as decreed, is it possible among the Palestinian's being displaced from their land, some may be descendants of those God commanded be given land as inheritance?
Some believe that Paul speaking of a mystery revealed to him in Ephesians 3:4-5 concerns a salvation message for the Gentile different than was given (in past generations) to Israel. However Paul instead is explaining why Israel rejected Christ, from teaching error they had expected a Kingdom established by the Messiah in which God and the people of Israel would at some future time rule over all nations. This teaching made possible because of a veil put over their hearts by God, explained by Paul in 2 Corinthians 3:12-17 "Therefore, since we have such a hope, we are very bold. We are not like Moses, who would put a veil over his face to keep the Israelites from gazing at it while the radiance was fading away. But their minds were made dull, for to this day the same veil remains when the old covenant is read. It has not been removed, because only in Christ is it taken away. Even to this day when Moses is read, a veil covers their hearts. But whenever anyone turns to the Lord, the veil is taken away. Now the Lord is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom."
The mystery Paul speaks of results from this misunderstanding that hardened the heart of Israel against Christ, this revealed now as a time beginning for the fulfillment of the Gentile. This is explained by Paul in Romans 11:25 "I do not want you to be ignorant of this mystery, brothers, so that you may not be conceited: Israel has experienced a hardening in part until the full number of the Gentiles has come in." Read closely as Paul explains this mystery and revelation fully in Ephesians 3:1-6 For this reason I, Paul, the prisoner of Christ Jesus for the sake of you Gentiles- Surely you have heard about the administration of God's grace that was given to me for you, that is, the mystery made known to me by revelation, as I have already written briefly. In reading this, then, you will be able to understand my insight into the mystery of Christ, which was not made known to men in other generations as it has now been revealed by the Spirit to God's holy apostles and prophets. This mystery was that through the gospel the Gentiles are heirs together with Israel, members together of one body, and sharers together in the message and promise through Christ Jesus." Notice the same message and promise is shared among both Jews called Israel and the Gentile. The mystery concerning past generation was due teaching of salvation and resurrection promise by Covenant under law, it was yet to come although described in Torah of a future grace apart from law through their Messiah, and this mystery ended with the New Covenant of grace through Christ Jesus.
Nor should it be believed that (all) of the Jewish rejected Christ, obvious of these are the Jewish disciple's Christ described given to Him, what Christ said about those that would reject him is Luke 9:21-22 "Jesus strictly warned them not to tell this to anyone. And he said, "The Son of Man must suffer many things and be rejected by the elders, chief priests and teachers of the law..." , and about these Christ often describing man made laws and leading the common people-Israel astray. Christ on the cross said about the misled, in Luke 23:34 'Jesus said, "Father, forgive them, for they do not know what they are doing." About the common man as was the Roman soldier and people-Israel misled, Paul spoke saying in Romans 11:2 "God did not reject his people, whom he foreknew...", and these God foreknew were called those faithful and obedient, the upright and righteous.
During the ministry of Christ on earth did the Jews receive a different message than the Gentile, proving the Jew and Gentile are separate and have separate paths to salvation. Scripture of both Old and New Testaments refutes this claim, in the Old Testament the 'Anointed One' describes the Messiah as savior of both Jew and Gentile. John the Baptist from the beginning proclaiming a heavenly promise in Matthew 3:1-2 "In those days John the Baptist came, preaching in the Desert of Judea and saying, "Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is near." From this beginning in Genesis the Old Testament prophecies were recounted that proclaimed the coming Messiah, Savior, Redeemer, and Christ Jesus was He. Christ said about His ministry and teaching in Matthew 24:14 "And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in the whole world as a testimony to all nations, and then the end will come."
Certainly within old Covenant times the Chosen did not have a New Testament with Christ's teaching, in this earlier time the first Covenant of Law was to lead the Chosen upon this earth among the ways of man. In this earlier time God describes a future Messiah and grace, this again of faith when salvation was to come bringing salvation by Gods grace to many nations and people. In this old Covenant time was also a Mishnah as yet not fully recorded being a book of traditions called the Baghdad Talmud, the Talmud were Jerusalem and Babylon interpretation's by men concerning the inspired word of God. Found within these other teachings are implied differences and divisions among the chosen and others, these are mans theories, the word of God is clear saying He knows those He has chosen. Regardless of past misunderstandings the same message of Christ was given Jew and Gentile as in Acts 13:26 "Brothers, children of Abraham, and you God-fearing Gentiles, it is to us that this message of salvation has been sent." Christ gave full explanation in John 3:3 In reply Jesus declared, "I tell you the truth, no one can see the kingdom of God unless he is born again."
The Upright and Righteous from the Old Testament of law had promise of God they would one day be brought into Paradise, and continuing yet today we call the 'first resurrection'. This resurrection beginning when Christ after crucified at death went into the depths where He preached or proclaimed to those resting in peace within Sheol, and upon rising in victory over death led these captives free. This First Resurrection continues today within the New Testament through the same faith bringing grace, ending at the Coming of the Lord for the saints yet living. To be sure some today still keep old rituals and follow old ways such as circumcision, Christ did not say he came to do away with the law. Yet of the New Covenant Christ explained most eloquently to the woman at his feet in tears, Christ revealed the way to salvation saying in Luke 7:50 "Jesus said to the woman, "Your faith has saved you; go in peace." And this same message we hear today, of faith described in Habakkuk 2:4 "...but the righteous will live by his faith..." And so the promised salvation through Abraham became saving grace and resurrection through Christ, as told in Romans 4:16 "Therefore, the promise comes by faith, so that it may be by grace and may be guaranteed to all Abraham's offspring-not only to those who are of the law but also to those who are of the faith of Abraham. He is the father of us all." Verses earlier clearly telling us this seed of Abraham includes both Jew and Gentile as the Family of God. Further, those belonging to Christ have become the seed of Abraham described in Galations 3:29 "If you belong to Christ, then you are Abraham's seed, and heirs according to the promise."
Is there one Covenant of God for the Chosen, and another Covenant of God for the Gentile. No, Jesus certainly came first for the lost sheep of Israel, with foreknowledge that Israel would hardened their hearts causing Israel's House being left desolate (Luke 13:35), Christ described a period of interruption when Israel would be without a temple, without a sacrifice, without a priesthood and without a Covenant. This is made clear in Hosea 3:4-5 "For the Israelites will live many days without king or prince, without sacrifice or sacred stones, without ephod or idol. Afterward the Israelites will return and seek the LORD their God and David their king. They will come trembling to the LORD and to his blessings in the last days." This error of concept regarding Two-Covenant or Dual-Covenant theology for separate ways to salvation for the Jewish (Israel) and Gentile is further clarified in Isaiah. 62:1-7, 65:16-25, also Jeremiah 3:8-25, 30:8-24. There is also mention of unfulfilled promises from the Old Covenant, these being Promises both covenantal and dispensational, both answered in Ephesians 4:7-8 "But to each one of us grace has been given as Christ apportioned it. This is why it says: When he ascended on high, he led captives in his train and gave gifts to men." And at the return of the Messiah all that is written shall be fulfilled.
The first Covenant God made with a chosen people was a contract being conditional, for these of Old Testament people that were obedient and kept covenant, many of the promises made to them are yet to be fulfilled, at their resurrection all their promises in the new creations will be fulfilled and answered through Christ. Who cannot see that it is in the New Covenant through Christ that these promise will now be answered, consider in I Chronicles 23:13 God promises Aaronic priesthood would continue forever. In I Chronicles 23:25 God said He had come to dwell in the Temple in Jerusalem forever. In II Samuel 7:12-16 God promised descendants of David would sit on his throne forever (prophetically Christ). In II Chronicles 33:7 God said He will put His name in the Temple of Jerusalem forever. The first covenant was broken by the chosen when they turned away from God to worship false gods, God then declared the covenant broken. God now has announced a new covenant through Christ, all promises of God that remain unanswered will be fulfilled through Christ Jesus in the new heavens, new earth, and the new Jerusalem of eternity.
What appears most misunderstood is the relationship between the first Covenant and the new Covenant, now called the Old and New Covenants, and these both established as prophesied between the covenant faithful or chosen people and God. The misunderstanding is regarding Gods perfect Law, that this perfect Law was weak in purpose, when in fact the Law was perfect and it being man who was week. Still God is perfect, and His Law is perfect, and this foretold by God that through the law would come the Messiah to rectify mans weakness to the perfection of His Law. So it was the all knowing God who began the works of salvation for man who though weak in body, was willing of spirit, and through the word would find repentance in faith to receive grace through Christ. This began through a chosen people, to include the believers who would follow, until all in faith anointed in praise their redeemer and Messiah as Lord.
No, God desires one people and for this purpose chose a people, as it was in the beginning and will be in the end saying, Eph 2:14-15 "For he himself is our peace, who has made the two one and has destroyed the barrier, the dividing wall of hostility, by abolishing in his flesh the law with its commandments and regulations. His purpose was to create in himself one new man out of the two, thus making peace..." God has established His Kingdom, and in regard to the nations of peoples God has said in Psalms 10:16 "The LORD is King for ever and ever; the nations will perish from his land." Will God then love one more than another, and will we serve or will we rule with authority, of such authorities the Lord has described in Matthew 20:25-27 'Jesus called them together and said, "You know that the rulers of the Gentiles lord it over them, and their high officials exercise authority over them. Not so with you. Instead, whoever wants to become great among you must be your servant, and whoever wants to be first must be your slave...'" This is the same message to Gods people in both the Old and New Testament, priestly reign is not to rule, but to serve. Also concerning some prominent among the chosen people in the Bible, not all were born a Jew, a number became part of the chosen from other lands and other people's. But of those whose work receive a greater reward, certainly those that in adversity remained faithful, their reward is told in Isaiah 61:7 "Instead of their shame my people will receive a double portion, and instead of disgrace they will rejoice in their inheritance; and so they will inherit a double portion in their land, and everlasting joy will be theirs."
Remember, the prophetic re-gathering (after purging the rebellious of both living and dead) to the Promised Land of Israel, is not for the purpose to judge the wicked, the purpose is to live with God in peace forever described in Genesis 13:15 "All the land that you see I will give to you and your offspring forever." Here (forever) is found in the New Jerusalem and Holy Mountain of worship, and this no ordinary city but where is found the Sanctuary made by God. Yet some will recite verse's such as from Amos telling of the true re-gathering, yet apparently believing to Israel of this earth age and limited only to those yet living. Amos 9:13-14 speaks about (all) generations of the elect as those He will bring back forever into Israel, and here they will rebuild what had been destroyed. This re-gathering will include not only the living at the return of Christ, but will include the many who died through the ages in their faith and some having never seen the Promised Land of Israel. Read closely what it says in Amos 9:14-15 "'I will bring back my exiled people Israel; they will rebuild the ruined cities and live in them. They will plant vineyards and drink their wine; they will make gardens and eat their fruit. I will plant Israel in their own land, never again to be uprooted from the land I have given them,' says the LORD your God." This tells of making all things new, the old cities had passed away with the old order including earth, rebuilding does not suggest repairing what was destroyed, instead tells of beginning anew'.
Some believe that the Old Covenant was never broken, saying that the Temple and sacrifice existed at the arrival of Christ on earth. But the Covenant was broken, in ( Jeremiah-11) we learn that the people continued to sin leading to worshiping false gods. Christ told of the destruction of the Temple in Matthew 24:2 "Do you see all these things?" he asked. "I tell you the truth, not one stone here will be left on another; every one will be thrown down." It is after Israel and Judah both break the Covenant that God declares the Covenant broken and turns His face from them. If this were not so, there would be no reason for God in (Jeremiah 31:31-34, Heb-8:7-12 ) to promise a New Covenant with the chosen. It is true the Old Covenant made provision for sin, yet God had already prophesied a better plan for the atonement of sin by grace through the salvation works of a Messiah, this Messiah is Christ Jesus. At this time God says in Hebrews 10:16 "This is the covenant I will make with them after that time, says the Lord. I will put my laws in their hearts, and I will write them on their minds."
Jesus in establishing His church on earth was not at that time ministering among the Gentile or excluding the Chosen of God. Jesus was with the chosen and established His church from and among the chosen people of God. Jesus did not share this ministry among the outsider except in special circumstance, all those selected and appointed with but rare exception came from the chosen. This ministry outreach was restricted to the chosen until the very end of Christ’s ministry on earth. It was after Christ went into the depths from which He led captives free, that Paul was chosen to extend grace into the Gentile world. For this God established a people, but the promise was not for one people but all nations and peoples as promised in Genesis 22:18 "...and through your offspring all nations on earth will be blessed, because you have obeyed me." See the error of teaching that all the Jew's rejected the Messiah, praise God for the obedient that did not reject, the same living in testimony to their faith and among those that reached out to the Gentile.
The Lord in His ministry established the new Covenant of Salvation, becoming King of kings within the heavenly Kingdom. Christ who knew He would leave this earth for a time, did not leave His authority to administers as did kings of earth. Instead Christ established His Church, giving the keys of both heaven and earth to His church in faith evidenced as was that of the faith of Peter. Peter in admitting Christ was the Messiah, brought the response of Christ that this knowledge was not learned of man, but received from God. Paul it was who later described the building plan for Christ's church as a temple of believers, assembled by God with power and authority through gifts made possible, first being the administrative and also to include the service gifts. These Christ said as each did their part would bring unity and maturity to the entire church body.
Christ then is the last sin offering fulfilling Hosea 6:6 "For I desire mercy, not sacrifice, and acknowledgment of God rather than burnt offerings," fulfilled as described in 2 Corinthians 5:17-18 "Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; the old has gone, the new has come!" In this New Covenant is fulfillment of old and new promises as in Romans 7:6 "But now, by dying to what once bound us, we have been released from the law so that we serve in the new way of the Spirit, and not in the old way of the written code." Christ said He did not come to do away with the law or the promises of God, instead saying in Matthew 5:17 "Do not think that I have come to abolish the Law or the Prophets; I have not come to abolish them but to fulfill them."
Although the chosen people are still scattered and remain the rebellious as declared by God, this does not mean that the re-gathering into Israel today will not be used by God as prophesied. Yet it must be remembered who the one is that will gather the tribes of Judah and Israel from all the nations, and when this event will finally occur. There being men who would be enablers, well intentioned and not who regardless that God scattered the rebellious, take upon themselves the re-gathering for God into the new State of Israel. Gods word is without doubt in prophecy saying the true re-gathering by God is as described in Zechariah, and this begins at the coming of Christ for this purpose. God drove the rebellious from the Old Land of Promise, God in His time will gather a remnant elect of the chosen back into a New Land of Promise. Man today in re-gathering of Jews into the new State of Israel is man serving the will of man that will fulfill end days desolations as prophesied.
In Zech-12 we learn that it is the outpouring of grace from the Lord upon the remnant in Jerusalem that cleanses the chosen people, as it says in Zechariah 12:10-11 "And I will pour out on the house of David and the inhabitants of Jerusalem a spirit of grace and supplication. They will look on me, the one they have pierced, and they will mourn for him as one mourns for an only child, and grieve bitterly for him as one grieves for a firstborn son," this is when every clan and tribe of the chosen (symbolically Jerusalem) now scattered learn their Messiah has come.
It is Zech-13 that describes the symbolic cleansing that begins with the house of David, as it says in Zechariah 13:1 "On that day a fountain will be opened to the house of David and the inhabitants of Jerusalem, to cleanse them from sin and impurity." In Zechariah-14 is described the symbolic Promised Lands (New Heaven and New Earth) and New Jerusalem as in Zechariah 14:8-9 "On that day living water will flow out from Jerusalem, half to the eastern sea and half to the western sea, in summer and in winter. The LORD will be king over the whole earth. On that day there will be one LORD, and his name the only name." The symbology of East and West sea's has important connotation, Summer and Winter denotes continuance.
Notice that it is not the chosen that cleanse themselves using Old Covenant ritual or sacrifice, God having said He does not want sacrifice. About the Old Covenant God has said it was broken and is no longer binding. In the New Testament we are told God will make a New Covenant with the chosen, these agreements as we all know are not binding until both parties agree on content. I believe some of the chosen have already made this commitment; this began when the Messiah chose twelve men of the chosen people as disciples, the Lord sending these disciples first to the chosen people as was His purpose. This New Covenant as the following scripture will show, promises not only a New Earth and New Jerusalem, in this new creation is the New Promise Land in Revelation 21:5 'He who was seated on the throne said, "I am making everything new!'" And here will be the gathering of the 'whole house of Israel' forever.
The first Jewish or chosen as believers in this New Covenant were called Christians, so it continues that the chosen that commit themselves to this New Covenant call themselves Jewish Christians. There are others called the Gentile who Christ has spliced into the family of God, these call themselves simply as Christian. Remembering again as told in Daniel, the chosen were to make atonement not a cleansing for transgressions and sin, as described in Daniel 9:24 "Seventy 'sevens' are decreed for your people and your holy city to finish transgression, to put an end to sin, to atone for wickedness..." To atone for wickedness they are to end transgressions and sin. It is important to understand the difference between this and the cleansing of the chosen, the Lord does this, the Lord will pour out grace upon the chosen, Gods grace is that which saves the chosen. This saving grace is accomplished neither by their own works or sacrifice. The promise to the chosen that they also may be re-grafted found in Romans 11:23-24 "And if they do not persist in unbelief, they will be grafted in, for God is able to graft them in again. After all, if you were cut out of an olive tree that is wild by nature, and contrary to nature were grafted into a cultivated olive tree, how much more readily will these, the natural branches, be grafted into their own olive tree!"
Israel are a people who await only to receive their promise as told in Hebrews 8:8-9 "The time is coming, declares the Lord, when I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel and with the house of Judah. It will not be like the covenant I made with their forefathers when I took them by the hand to lead them out of Egypt, because they did not remain faithful to my covenant, and I turned away from them, declares the Lord." Israel will receive their promise and gathering when as told in Romans 11:25 "I do not want you to be ignorant of this mystery, brothers, so that you may not be conceited: Israel has experienced a hardening in part until the full number of the Gentiles has come in." In the past a failed attempt was made by man to rejoin the house of Israel with the house of Judah. The true gathering of the chosen will begin at the return of the Messiah Christ Jesus when the "whole house" of Israel will be gathered. God will not gather a few of the chosen or elect for eternity, God will leave "no one" of these elect behind who had passed away or yet live in other nations. The chosen divided symbolized as two sticks, and these bound back into one, described in Ezekiel 37:22-23 "I will make them one nation in the land, on the mountains of Israel. There will be one king over all of them and they will never again be two nations or be divided into two kingdoms."
So today the error in believing that a Temple will be built in Israel before the Messiah returns is to believe God requires a Temple be built. There will be a sanctuary built, calling it a sanctuary because this is what Archangel in Dan-9 did not decree as a Temple that must be built, but foretold instead of a sanctuary destroyed during desolation in the end days within the sacred Jerusalem. Those of the New Covenant will know the significance of a (man made) sanctuary instead of Temple being destroyed. This error is also true concerning the gathering of the Jewish people into Israel today before desolation has even begun, the gathering by the Lord as scripture has made clear occurs at the time that desolation has begun, and who cannot tell that it is man doing the gathering today. Remembering also the prophesied desolation does not begin until the armies amassed against Israel finally attack, and after this the Lord destroys these armies and nations of all the enemies of Israel, giving the repentant remnant of Jerusalem or Israel miraculous powers.
Do not confuse 'tribulations' with the final or apocalyptic days called the prophetic week of 'desolations', in each life there will be trials and tribulations for testing of faith, described in John 16:33 "In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world." In this verse the same word for tribulations was translated as 'troubles'. Today and until the beginning of 'Final Days of Desolation', scripture describes the chosen as a rebellious people, and of the peoples on earth described as the rebellious turning ever more to evil. Of these 'Last Days' before the end regarding the chosen of Israel, will they all or any part of (only) those yet living be returned to a new State of Israel. It is already evident some of the living are returning, and certainly the Bible tells about these in Israel before desolation begins, but is this the good purpose of God. What is the fruit within Israel today of this gathering, does this gathering evidence the good purpose of God, or is the evidence today instead that of serving Gods will? All things shall serve Gods will, not all things are within or follow the good and worthy purpose of God.
Is the Israel of this earth age the Promised Land into which God is re-gathering the chosen, the Bible tells us the promised land is given to the chosen people as an everlasting possession in Genesis 17:8 "...I will give as an everlasting possession to you and your descendants after you; and I will be their God," here God is not describing a temporary battleground literally destroyed, later being covered over by the New Jerusalem. Nor will God leave any behind, meaning those spliced in and those who died without seeing the land, and so our best description of this Promised Land is as both a heavenly land and built by God described in Hebrews 11:10-16 "For he was looking forward to the city with foundations, whose architect and builder is God. By faith Abraham, even though he was past age--and Sarah herself was barren--was enabled to become a father because he considered him faithful who had made the promise. And so from this one man, and he as good as dead, came descendants as numerous as the stars in the sky and as countless as the sand on the seashore. All these people were still living by faith when they died. They did not receive the things promised; they only saw them and welcomed them from a distance. And they admitted that they were aliens and strangers on earth. People who say such things show that they are looking for a country of their own. If they had been thinking of the country they had left, they would have had opportunity to return. Instead, they were longing for a better country-a heavenly one. Therefore God is not ashamed to be their God, for he has prepared a city for them"
This prophecy describes a possession for you (and) your descendants, this clearly proclaims in promise that all past, present, and future generations will (all) reside in this Promised Land. The promise continues to say that as they reside in this Promised Land, in this land they will (all) have peace. Contrast this peace with the State of Israel today and the prophetic of 2 Tim-3 telling of the last days of this earth age having already begun, leading to the eschatalogic time of desolations, when the abyss is opened the desolations becoming apocalyptic with wars until the very end. When Christ allows the opening of the abyss, Satan released will finally gather his army of Gog and Magog to surround Israel and in symbology attack the city of Jerusalem. This begins the times decreed of disasters and desolations leading to the end about which Archangel Gabriel tells us in Daniel 9:26-27 "The end will come like a flood: War will continue until the end, and desolations have been decreed."
Revelation-11 is often quoted in belief a Temple of old will be built in Israel before the return of the Lord. However this Temple within Revelation is a symbolic instruction to measure a Temple described within Revelation, and as described in Revelation is much different than any Temple of earth such as described in Ezekiel 40, where a very detailed Temple measurement is followed for several chapters ending with warning that the people did not fulfill. The detail of (Rev 11:13-23) instead is clearly a symbolic instruction of measuring the Temple within Revelation, with no further mention and immediately blends into the first 3½ year's leading up to the beginning or final 3½ years of desolation never seen before or after. No further mention is made of the symbolic Temple measuring, however at the end of Rev-11 we are told Revelation 11:19 "Then God's temple in heaven was opened, and within his temple was seen the ark of his covenant."
Also regarding the instructions given to John for measuring a temple, this involves four points, (1) to measure the temple, (2) also the altar, with unusual instruction to (3) count the worshipers, and last being to (4) omit the outer court of the Temple that has been given to the Gentile. It continues to describe other Gentile (negatively) within the city of Jerusalem, in all described in Revelation 11:1-2 'I was given a reed like a measuring rod and was told, "Go and measure the temple of God and the altar, and count the worshipers there. But exclude the outer court; do not measure it, because it has been given to the Gentiles. They will trample on the holy city for 42 months." No further mention is made of this measuring nor outer court or meaning of trampling the Holy City, however the '42 months' is clearly related to the final 3½ years of desolation. Also John and an angel do measure the City (New Jerusalem), told of in Revelation 21:15 "The angel who talked with me had a measuring rod of gold to measure the city, its gates and its walls.'"
It is important to understand in reference to the 'outer court' that in fact God has given a part of the 'symbolic holy place' or Promised Land to the Gentile (alien) as commanded in Ezekiel 47:22 "You are to allot it as an inheritance for yourselves and for the aliens who have settled among you and who have children. You are to consider them as native-born Israelites; along with you they are to be allotted an inheritance among the tribes of Israel."
Israel does not understand the allotment of lands for those grafted in to this day, nor apparently by John writing in Revelation what he saw in symbolic truth, just as Daniel was confused about symbolic prophecy he was given. Of this symbolic truth however he continues in describing seven years cut short at 3½ years, the two witnesses (that in the end days may symbolically mean Hebrew and Gentile witness), the opening of the abyss resulting in the killing of the witnesses (or their testimony), and after 3½ days (1290-1325 days holding to faith) the witnesses as last of the faithful brought back to life everlasting and called up to heaven. This temple of Revelation has an altar, the altar is before God, it is not a sin offering altar, it is the temple and altar from which comes end day wrath and judgments against man and creation. Also this Temple or Sanctuary within the New Jerusalem is the Sanctuary God says He will establish on earth, this is the Sanctuary (not built by mans hand) that will exist among His people forever more.
The Temple John is told to measure in Rev-11 then is in symbology a spiritual truth, and later is described the Spiritual Temple found in heaven. John later describes this city (New Jerusalem) and the Temple, saying in Revelation 21:22 "I did not see a temple in the city, because the Lord God Almighty and the Lamb are its temple." The symbolic meaning in telling John to measure this Temple appears to be regarding the as yet separation in heaven regarding the souls of those under the altar, these appearing to mean the Jewish (worshipers) and Gentile (outer court). Here we may remember the symbolic Gentile outside the temple who trample the Holy City. Then in symbology we have the chosen (worshipers), also those Gentile spliced into the family (outer court), and last a negative implication being (other Gentile) who trample the Holy City for 42 months. These later very likely those released from the abyss, remember, during the last days after the abyss is opened begins in the later half the apocalypse of the last three and one half years, or 42 months.
These (worshipers and outer court) souls would be those John described earlier in symbology as the souls below the altar in Revelation 6:9-11 "...I saw under the altar the souls of those who had been slain because of the word of God and the testimony they had maintained. They called out in a loud voice, "How long, Sovereign Lord, holy and true, until you judge the inhabitants of the earth and avenge our blood?" Then each of them was given a white robe, and they were told to wait a little longer, until the number of their fellow servants and brothers who were to be killed as they had been was completed." These souls would be the upright and righteous who had died but as yet have not received the new heavenly body. There is little reason for John to measure the last (Herods) Temple that exists today in remnant part, although there is apparently a sanctuary that will be set up within the wing-edge or border area of Herods Temple where abominations and sacrifice are prophesied to occur.
Perhaps significant in this context is Ezra chapter-3 that describes a time after the destruction of the first Temple, when the repentant Jewish people (without a Temple) offered sacrifices upon a special altar described in Ezra 3:2 "Then Jeshua son of Jozadak and his fellow rests and Zerubbabel son of Shealtiel and his associates began to build the altar of the God of Israel to sacrifice burnt offerings on it..." This would explain the sanctuary described to Daniel by the angel, within the mistaken remnant of Herods Temple is said exists the Wailing Wall, the remnant Temple considered a Holy Place. The same Temple however Christ declared, in Mark 13:1-2 "As he was leaving the temple, one of his disciples said to him, "Look, Teacher! What massive stones! What magnificent buildings!" "Do you see all these great buildings?" replied Jesus. "Not one stone here will be left on another; every one will be thrown down." This remnant then perhaps as historians have reported, was the old Fort Antonia in which Roman soldiers garrisoned while completely tearing down Herods Temple. It would also explain why sacrifices will be made in a (wing edge) or border area of this Temple, remembering all sacrificial altar's in past Temples were found within the very center called 'The Court of Priests', located immediately before the steps leading up into the most Holy of Holies. Concerning the secular Zionists or New Sanhedrin (Temple Mount Faithful) minority in Israel planning to build a temple, these now say the temple will be built by (Zionist) Jews, and will not come down out of heaven, a contradiction of prophecy by Christ who tells of the New Jerusalem and Gods' Sanctuary described in Revelation (see website http://www.templemountfaithful.org/).
It is important at this time to mention the sequence from old to new including new heaven and new earth creations. It begins in Revelation 20:11 "Then I saw a great white throne and him who was seated on it. Earth and sky fled from his presence, and there was no place for them." Next we hear of the new heaven and new earth in Revelation 21:1 "Then I saw a new heaven and a new earth, for the first heaven and the first earth had passed away, and there was no longer any sea." Notice that sea often refer's to peoples and in the New there is no sea as yet, however in the New Jerusalem as told in Revelation 21:2 "I saw the Holy City, the new Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, prepared as a bride beautifully dressed for her husband." This is finalized when the Lord says in Revelation 21:5 'He who was seated on the throne said, "I am making everything new!" Then he said, "Write this down, for these words are trustworthy and true.'" Note the 'bride' or souls in heaven were no longer upon earth but came down as the New Jerusalem from heaven; here the bride meets Christ the husband, coming down meaning revealed, now revealed within the New Heaven and New Earth, the place of righteousness.
It also is imperative that we follow New Testament prophecy to see how Old Testament promises still prevail and await fulfillment. In Matt 24:5-8 we are told of deception and wickedness in the end days, and these beginning the 'abomination that causes the desolation' in Jerusalem. About this desolation we are warned in 2 Tim 2:3-7 concerning those serving civilian (worldly) causes for the Prince of this world, instead of serving the will and purpose of our Lord God. Revelation chapter-6 then describes the 7-Seals and 7-Horsemen bringing those days to an end, as does Rev 8-11 record the angels sounding the seven trumpets bring end time events described for those with discernment.
Regarding the Temple's built on earth over past ages in Israel (the third actually rebuilt), there is found no place in the New Testament that prophecies a third (or forth) Temple needs be built. If the New Jerusalem is to cover over the old Jerusalem, and this earth is destroyed, would not a man made temple then be destroyed? Remember also not (all) of the chosen will be gathered back into Israel of this earth age forever. Scripture does tell of this earth being destroyed and the Lord making everything new. The Temples made by the hands of man on earth are not to be glorified, about mans constructs in this earth-age the Lord said in Hebrew 8:4-5 "They serve at a sanctuary that is a copy and shadow of what is in heaven." About the Temple that men say they must build in end days of this earth age; mentioned by the Archangel to Daniel as a sanctuary, the desolation this rebellion will bring as judgment also described in these same verses.
In the New Covenant God says He no longer wants our sacrifice that He provided through Christ, nor a sanctuary He has already created, instead He wants our love. In this it is no longer by law we are justified, it is by grace. About continued sacrifices we are told in Isaiah 66:1-4 'This is what the LORD says: "Heaven is my throne, and the earth is my footstool. Where is the house you will build for me? Where will my resting place be? Has not my hand made all these things, and so they came into being?" declares the LORD. "This is the one I esteem: he who is humble and contrite in spirit, and trembles at my word. But whoever sacrifices a bull is like one who kills a man, and whoever offers a lamb, like one who breaks a dog's neck; whoever makes a grain offering is like one who presents pig's blood, and whoever burns memorial incense, like one who worships an idol. They have chosen their own ways, and their souls delight in their abominations; so I also will choose harsh treatment for them and will bring upon them what they dread. For when I called, no one answered, when I spoke, no one listened. They did evil in my sight and chose what displeases me.'"
This following will be repeated using other scripture later, for it bears repeating, and this of the New Heavens and New Earth as in Mark 13:30-31 "Heaven and earth will pass away, but my words will never pass away," promised again in Revelation 21:1-5 "Then I saw a new heaven and a new earth, for the first heaven and the first earth had passed away, and there was no longer any sea. I saw the Holy City, the New Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, prepared as a bride beautifully dressed for her husband. And I heard a loud voice from the throne saying, "Now the dwelling of God is with men, and he will live with them. They will be his people, and God himself will be with them and be their God. He will wipe every tear from their eyes. There will be no more death or mourning or crying or pain, for the old order of things has passed away." He who was seated on the throne said, "I am making everything new!" Then he said, "Write this down, for these words are trustworthy and true."
Today the signs evident within Israel show little hope for peace, unless they find peace with those who today want Israel or more correctly the Zionism-regime in Jerusalem to be no more. It appears Israel has become aware of declining safeguards from debt's worldwide, destabilization not only among the nations, but the very fabric of this earth. In truth most Arab nations "leaders" surrounding Israel have made peace of sorts with Israel, the conflict today is primarily with Palestinian and surrounding Arab "peoples," the support from Arab nations to Palestinian's mostly in recognition of need. Population growth today in this region favors Muslim peoples, with the next world power to be 3rd World nations under the empire of China, although global Multinational Cartels believe they have all under control.
The Bible tells of the prophetic re-gathering of the chosen by God to the Promised Lands as symbolically described in Ezekiel 37:11 'Then he said to me: "Son of man, these bones are the whole house of Israel." The re-gathering of the "whole
house of Israel" literally means " of all ages" of the chosen including the elect yet living at the return of Christ. But before this re-gathering there will be events such as the invasion of Israel, the invasion destroyed, an agreement bringing short peace in Israel, then the Abomination and the sanctuary destroyed, sacrifice (?) ended, the great battle, this all ends with the wrath of God in judgment, and after this is established Gods Sanctuary and Kingdom. This remembered from the prayer Christ told us in Matthew 6:9-10 "...Our Father in heaven, hallowed be your name, your kingdom come, your will be done on earth as it is in heaven..."
Before the re-gathering, scripture describes conditions that develop in what we now call the State of Israel and specifically Jerusalem, and about this God gives dire warning in Zechariah 12:3 "And in that day will I make Jerusalem a burdensome stone for all people: all that burden themselves with it shall be cut in pieces, though all the people of the earth be gathered together against it." Jerusalem today being the seat of both Islam and Zionist government shall become a burdensome stone. Scripture mentioning stones in this connotation relate to stumbling blocks. Do not confuse Gods warning of this stumbling block as for only the wicked, the stone described is warning for all people who it may cause to stumble. Saying all that burden or participate as stumbling blocks both Gentile and Zionist, all these will meet Gods severe wrath. Also do not forget scripture telling of the great price those within Israel of this earth age will pay, as told in Zechariah 12:2 "I am going to make Jerusalem a cup that sends all the surrounding peoples reeling. Judah will be besieged as well as Jerusalem." How accurately this describes conditions that exist today in the State of Israel, not only concerning neighboring peoples, but the nature of all nations who are errant and involved, this leads to wars until the end with desolations and wrath decreed. Out of this symbolic Jerusalem and Israel only the remnant elect will be saved.
The re-gathering of the chosen begins during the battle when a remnant or elect find miraculous sanctuary in the Lord told of in Zechariah 12:7-9 "On that day the LORD will shield those who live in Jerusalem, so that the feeblest among them will be like David, and the house of David will be like God, like the Angel of the LORD going before them. On that day I will set out to destroy all the nations that attack Jerusalem." During this symbolic Day of the Lord a spiritual miracle happens for the whole house of Israel meaning the remnant elect of the scattered clans will repent and praise the Messiah as told in Zechariah 12:10-14 "And I will pour out on the house of David and the inhabitants of Jerusalem a spirit of grace and supplication. They will look on me, the one they have pierced, and they will mourn for him as one mourns for an only child, and grieve bitterly for him as one grieves for a firstborn son. On that day the weeping in Jerusalem will be great, like the weeping of Hadad Rimmon in the plain of Megiddo. The land will mourn, each clan by itself, with their wives by themselves: the clan of the house of David and their wives, the clan of the house of Nathan and their wives, the clan of the house of Levi and their wives, the clan of
Shimei and their wives, and all the rest of the clans and their wives."
This re-gathering will be to the Promised Land; to the city called the New Jerusalem, where within the New Jerusalem is found the Temple or Sanctuary of God, and here the remnant and elect will reside with their children and their children's children forever. Christ in Luke 17 tells of the Chosen (those you gave me), also the Gentile or those who (come to me because of them). Would the Israel of this earth hold (all) of the 'chosen'? Of the Temple of God where the Chosen are gathered for eternity, will there be an altar upon which blood-sacrifice is made for sin, of course not, there will be a throne of God and an altar of praise. There is every reason to believe that the New Jerusalem coming down out of Heaven is also in part that called the New Earth.
Some believe (all) Jewish people will be gathered into Paradise by God and not require the saving grace of Jesus, however the New Covenant is clear that none come but through Christ. How Christ receives the Upright and Righteous is answered in Gods’ word, being after Christ crucified going into the depths where He preaches or proclaims, revealed in Ephesians 4:7-8 ...This is why it says: "When he ascended on high, he led captives in his train and gave gifts to men." Yet does this mean "all" Jewish people including Judas, it says in Romans 2:28-29 "A man is not a Jew if he is only one outwardly, nor is circumcision merely outward and physical. No, a man is a Jew if he is one inwardly; and circumcision is circumcision of the heart, by the Spirit, not by the written code. Such a man's praise is not from men, but from God." Then is answered how the elect called the upright and righteous who pass away then through the Messiah receive grace and salvation, also is answered how the elect yet living when the Messiah returns will receive this same grace.
So just as the Upright were those righteous in faith (believing), this is still true as described in Romans 3:27-31 "Where, then, is boasting? It is excluded. On what principle? On that of observing the law? No, but on that of faith. For we maintain that a man is justified by faith apart from observing the law. Is God the God of Jews only? Is he not the God of Gentiles too? Yes, of Gentiles too, since there is only one God, who will justify the circumcised by faith and the uncircumcised through that same faith. Do we, then, nullify the law by this faith? Not at all! Rather, we uphold the law." All those called the upright and righteous are those the Lord saves through His grace as told in Isaiah 43:25 "I, even I, am he who blots out your transgressions, for my own sake, and remembers your sins no more." This righteousness through faith is described in Habakkuk 2:4 "...but the righteous will live by his faith..."
Here is what the prophet has said about the rebellious among the chosen who lead in error as described in Ezekiel 13:8-9 "Therefore this is what the Sovereign LORD says: Because of your false words and lying visions, I am against you, declares the
Sovereign LORD. My hand will be against the prophets who see false visions and utter lying divinations. They will not belong to the council of my people or be listed in the records of the house of Israel, nor will they enter the land of Israel. Then you will know that I am the Sovereign LORD." Would this as some apparently believe, mean that all (today) in the Israel (of today) are the righteous saved by grace for eternity? Anywhere within Gods word where it says "then you will know I am the Lord", this is a place to be very attentive.
The gathering of Gods people to the 'Promised Land' will not be upon this earth because this earth will literally perish with heaven and earth then being made new. Many teach a restored earth, but Gods word tells us in a number of places about making heaven and earth new. We are told in Isaiah 66:22 "As the new heavens and the new earth that I make will endure before me, declares the LORD..." This also foretold in Hebrews 1:10-12 "In the beginning, O Lord, you laid the foundations of the earth, and the heavens are the work of your hands. They will perish, but you remain; they will all wear out like a garment. You will roll them up like a robe; like a garment they will be changed. But you remain the same, and your years will never end." Not only will a New Heavens and New Earth be created, but also a New Jerusalem as told in Isaiah 65:17-19 "Behold, I will create new heavens and a new earth. The former things will not be remembered, nor will they come to mind. But be glad and rejoice forever in what I will create, for I will create Jerusalem to be a delight and its people a joy. I will rejoice over Jerusalem and take delight in my people; the sound of weeping and of crying will be heard in it no more."
Some are perplexed by Christ telling people standing near him that they would not pass away before the times of desolation described earlier, as in Mark 13:30 "I tell you the truth, this generation will certainly not pass away until all these things have happened. Heaven and earth will pass away, but my words will never pass away." Christ is referring to the destruction/perishing of this heaven and earth, saying these people would not pass away (second death) before this desolation and destruction in which the earth passes, similar to Christ saying in John 8:50-51 "I tell you the truth, if anyone keeps my word, he will never see death." The same is true of Christ telling of His final coming in Matthew 16:26-28 "What good will it be for a man if he gains the whole world, yet forfeits his soul? Or what can a man give in exchange for his soul? For the Son of Man is going to come in
his Father's glory with his angels, and then he will reward each person according to what he has done. I tell you the truth, some who are standing here will not taste death before they see the Son of Man coming in his kingdom." Among these people were 'some' who would not taste a reward of the second death before judgment. For this reason Christ warns that they should be prepared for His return when in judgment the unprepared will be destroyed as in Mark 13:35-37 "Therefore keep watch because you do not know when the owner of the house will come back-whether in the evening, or at midnight, or when the rooster crows, or at dawn. If he comes suddenly, do not let him find you sleeping. What I say to you, I say to everyone: 'Watch!'"
The promises of God to the chosen of bringing them back from all nations does not exclude the Gentile who by Gods grace are called Christian, although some Christian leaders seem unaware that God has spliced many into the family of God. This we are told in Ephesians 2:19-22 "Consequently, you are no longer foreigners and aliens, but fellow citizens with God's people and members of God's household, built on the foundation of the apostles and prophets, with Christ Jesus himself as the chief cornerstone. In him the whole building is joined together and rises to become a holy temple in the Lord. And in him you too are being built together to become a dwelling in which God lives by his Spirit."
The re-uniting of the twelve tribes of the chosen at this time told in Ezekiel 37:25-28 "They will live in the land I gave to my servant Jacob, the land where your fathers lived. They and their children and their children's children will live there forever, and David my servant will be their prince forever. I will make a covenant of peace with them; it will be an everlasting covenant. I will establish them and increase their numbers, and I will put my sanctuary among them forever. My dwelling place will be with them; I will be their God, and they will be my people. Then the nations will know that I the LORD make Israel holy, when my sanctuary is among them forever.'" Notice that this scripture describes a (past tense) "where your fathers lived," followed with a (future tense) promise for "their children...will live there forever," man will never again destroy this Sanctuary God sets up, here we are told about His Temple described in Revelation, and that it will remain forever among those God has chosen. Some believe they will return to an old home many generations past, scripture in this matter has taught the wise who tell us that we can only return to a home after many ages that is now new.
Read carefully again how God says He will make an everlasting Covenant with the chosen in Ezekiel 37:26 "I will make a covenant of peace with them; it will be an everlasting covenant..." God then continues and describes His everlasting Sanctuary, "... and I will put my sanctuary among them forever." This Sanctuary is in the New Jerusalem; it is neither a temple nor a remnant from the Old Earth age. This is the Kingdom Christ spoke of that was not upon this earth, yet it will come down out of Heaven and be with the chosen for eternity as told in Ezekiel 37:27-28 "My dwelling place will be with them; I will be their God, and they will be my people. Then the nations will know that I the LORD make Israel holy, when my sanctuary is among them forever."
About this true future Temple we are told in Haggai 2:9 "The glory of this latter house shall be greater than that of the former, says the Lord of hosts; and in this place I will give peace, says the Lord of hosts." Regarding the former temple's both second and third (the third actually rebuilt); scripture says both of these last temples did not equal in splendor the first temple of Saul. Also it is not a tabernacle or sanctuary construction that God resides in today, as told in 1 Corinthians 3:16-17 "Don't you know that you yourselves are God's temple and that God's Spirit lives in you? If anyone destroys God's temple, God will destroy him; for God's temple is sacred, and you are that temple." Here is described the Holy Spirit today given as gift and promise to those who through grace fulfill the New Covenant. And Christ when talking about the desecration's done to the Temple made by hands, said in Matthew 12:5-6 "I tell you that one greater than the temple is here." We are told about His temple in Acts 17:24 "The God who made the world and everything in it is the Lord of heaven and earth and does not live in temples built by hands."
In the New Covenant is described this new Temple, a Spiritual Temple, here will be found spiritual sacrifice, and this described in 1 Peter 2:4-6 "As you come to him, the living Stone- rejected by men but chosen by God and precious to him- you also, like living stones, are being built into a spiritual house to be a holy priesthood, offering spiritual sacrifices acceptable to God through Jesus Christ. For in Scripture it says: See, I lay a stone in Zion, a chosen and precious cornerstone, and the one who trusts in him will never be put to shame."
Look again in the book of Daniel as Gabriel prophecies to the Jewish or Chosen people about their restoring the city being lands and properties of Jerusalem before the coming of the Messiah, a time after which the Lord opens the Abyss. In this book of Daniel the Archangel Gabriel does not tell of a Temple that they must build, but almost in afterthought describes an apparent lesser sanctuary that will be destroyed in Daniel 9:25-27 "Know and understand this: From the issuing of the decree to restore and rebuild Jerusalem until the Anointed One, the ruler, comes, there will be seven 'sevens,' and sixty-two 'sevens.' It will be rebuilt with streets and a trench, but in times of trouble. After the sixty-two 'sevens,' the Anointed One will be cut off and will have nothing. The people of the ruler who will come will destroy the city and the sanctuary. The end will come like a flood: War will continue until the end, and desolations have been decreed. He will confirm a covenant with many for one 'seven.' In the middle of the 'seven' he will put an end to sacrifice and offering. And on a wing [of the temple] he will set up an Abomination that causes desolation, until the end that is decreed is poured out on him."
The insertion within Daniel 9:27 regarding wing of the "temple", the word temple is not found in original text and is in like manner of James the brother of Jesus talking about the temple of David also brought back. The Tent or Tabernacle of these nomadic people had never been a Temple building and David then the first to plan the construction of a Temple building. David even gathered the materials necessary, however the prophet Nathan said it would have to go to another. So the temple of David is a Tent or Tabernacle, and not a Temple as some may read into this scripture. The wing described in Dan 9:27 does give impression of "on the edge or border" of a sanctified or sanctuary location within a Holy Place. At this time there is very little evidence that Muslims of Islamic belief would allow their Mosque to be displaced. God of course
is all-powerful, but with all that has been said, by all indications it is a sanctuary in the wing or border area suggesting a location within the remnant of Herods Temple.
So what about this sanctuary that Daniel says will be destroyed. When the Lord Jesus Christ ascended into heaven, the Temple of God was then in Paradise of God and is God, this verified by John in Revelation 21:22 "I did not see a temple in the city, because the Lord God Almighty and the Lamb are its
temple." This also verified as told in Acts 17:24 "The God who made the world and everything in it is the Lord of heaven and earth and does not live in temples built by hands." Christ is now our High Priest in Hebrews 3:1 "Therefore, holy brothers, who share in the heavenly calling, fix your thoughts on Jesus, the apostle and high priest whom we confess." Further we are told Christ is now with the Father in John 7:33 "I then go to the one who sent me." Christ in talking of the desecration's to the Temple said in Matt 12:5-6 "I tell you that one greater than the temple is here." Today Christ the High Priest is in the Holy of Holies, about this Holy place we are told of in John 14:2 "In my Fathers house are many rooms... I am going to prepare a place for you." The New Testament now tells us our love is the spiritual sacrifice God desires.
In the vision of Ezekiel it is not a temple that 'shall be built' during the end days, but the temple that 'should have been built' in times past. Reading further into Ezekiel there is described a 'condition' required that the people must meet, this "and if" is in Ezekiel 43:10-12 "As for you, son of man, describe the temple to the house of Israel, that they may be ashamed of their iniquities; and let them measure the plan. And if they are ashamed of all that they have done, make known to them the design of the house, its structure, its exits, its entrances, all its designs, all its statutes, and all its laws. And write it in their sight, so that they may observe its whole design and all its statutes, and do them. This is the law of the house: its entire area on the top of the mountain all around shall be most holy. Behold, this is the law of the house."
This mandate in Ezekiel to be fulfilled before the temple could be built; was not fulfilled in the age envisioned by Ezekiel, nor is the mandate fulfilled to date. Within the New Covenant is found no requirement by God to build a temple of Old Testament purpose, yet many today believe such a temple should be built. About this temple prophesied in Ezekiel, it continues on to describe an altar and offerings, including sin offerings. It also instructs whom a priest may marry or not marry, warning not to defile themselves near a dead body. Clearly this is an Old Testament Temple, repeating again there is no New Covenant mandates calling for a temple and altar for blood-sacrifice for sin, nor such in which God will reside (only) within an inner sanctuary.
Some mistake the decree given Daniel by the archangel Gabriel 'for the people to accomplish' as instead accomplished by Christ, however the five important conditions to be fulfilled were to be accomplished by the people and regarding the city of Jerusalem as told in Daniel 9:24 "Seventy 'sevens' are decreed for your people and your holy city...", and these conditions were to (1) finish transgressions, (2) put end to sins, (3) atone for wickedness, (4) bring everlasting righteousness, and (5) seal up vision and prophecy and anoint the most holy. Although these conditions were to be fulfilled by the people it is obvious they were not, instead later scripture describes the rebellious in the last days when salvation is accomplished neither by their own works or by sacrifice that God no longer wants, instead it is accomplished by Gods cleansing grace poured out upon the obedient remnant elect with yet need to understand the fifth and last condition. The fifth condition is fulfilled as each of the upright and righteous in repentance return to God by anointing in everlasting praise the 'Most Holy' Christ Jesus as their Lord and Messiah.
Much relevance is being made today regarding ashes of a Red Heifer, here is what the Bible has to say. Num-19 describes this as an ordinance for flesh or body cleansing, not atonement. The earthly body in contact with death being a visible penalty of sin. Gen 2:17 also describes a defilement requiring purgation before one could have communion with the congregation of the living Israel. Isa 4:3 once again for defilement being but ceremonial (though at the same time conveying instruction as to real defilement) needing only ceremonial cleansing. The victim was a female, whereas the greater offerings for sin were male. No part came on the altar; even the blood was not sprinkled there, but before the tabernacle, and not by the high priest but by his son. No charge was given as to its being burnt in a clean place, but simply "without the camp," entire with skin and dung. What this conveys is the "red" pointing not so much to the blood of Christ as to the earth color ('adam meaning "red earth"), the flesh being the object of the purifying; also to sin, deep dyed as "scarlet," and associated with the flesh (Isa 1:18).
Today that which is relevant to 'ending transgression and sin' is described in Hebrews 9:13-15 "The blood of goats and bulls and the ashes of a heifer sprinkled on those who are ceremonially unclean sanctify them so that they are outwardly clean. How much more, then, will the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered himself unblemished to God, cleanse our consciences from acts that lead to death, so that we may serve the living God! For this reason Christ is the mediator of a new covenant, that those who are called may receive the promised eternal inheritance-now that he has died as a ransom to set them free from the sins committed under the first covenant." God through His grace will cleanse the chosen, the remnant elect, this is not an outward condition, but the creation of the new man made Holy through Christ.
When Christ began His ministry on earth in Old Testament times a Temple and priestly line were required to fulfill sacrifice for the sins of the people, however God describes a later time and the Old Covenant broken in Jeremiah 11:10 "...Both the house of Israel and the house of Judah have broken the covenant I made with their forefathers," The Lord then offers a New Covenant in which the High Priest is described in Hebrews 8:3-6 "Every high priest is appointed to offer both gifts and sacrifices, and so it was necessary for this one also to have something to offer. If he were on earth, he would not be a priest, for there are already men who offer the gifts prescribed by the law. They serve at a sanctuary that is a copy and shadow of what is in heaven. This is why Moses was warned when he was about to build the tabernacle: "See to it that you make everything according to the pattern shown you on the mountain." But the ministry Jesus has received is as superior to theirs as the covenant of which he is mediator is superior to the old one, and it is founded on better
Here is the New Covenant that God will make with a repentant after atonement in Jerusalem during the time of desolation, when a rebellious people return to God as described in Hebrews 8:8-9 "The time is coming, declares the Lord, when I will make a
new covenant with the house of Israel and with the house of Judah. It will not be like the covenant I made with their forefathers when I took them by the hand to lead them out of Egypt, because they did not remain faithful to my covenant, and I turned away from them, declares the Lord." The promises of God to the chosen people will be fulfilled in a New Covenant by Christ Jesus despite the obsolescence of the Old Covenant described in Hebrews 8:13 "By calling this covenant "new," he has made the first one obsolete; and what is obsolete and aging will soon disappear." Can you see God is promising to again lead His people out of bondage, and this bondage being judgment upon this earth and the unredeemed that perish with it in destruction.
It is not a revelation that the destroyed Temple of Herod was (not) re-built by man. In the Revelation vision of John concerning a Temple, and of this Temple of Revelation within the city of the New Jerusalem, we are told in Revelation 21:22 "I did not see a temple in the city, because the Lord God Almighty and the Lamb are its temple." The Temple Jesus told of that would be rebuilt after three days was of course referring to His resurrection. There is told a story of one reported attempt to rebuild the Temple in Israel, the result was experiencing flames coming out of crevices of the rocks that put end to the attempt. Other stories have also been told such as in 363-AD when a strong earthquake destroyed the materials brought to build a temple. The Arc of the Covenant was reported destroyed in fire, the repentance and re-gathering of (all) the chosen waits to this day, the new Arc of the Covenant the Bible says today is in heaven.
The only remaining NT scripture that is used having some validity to the claim a Temple or an Altar within a Holy place will exist in which the man of rebellion will set himself up is found in 2 Thessalonians 2:3-4 "...he sets himself up in God's temple, proclaiming himself to be God." Regarding the Temple mentioned in the above scripture, there was a time that Jewish people did not venture into some remnant areas of the Temple of Herod, this for fear of walking on the sacred place where once the inner Holy of Holies sanctuary existed. In this context it is important to remember in Ezekiel where an Archangel describes almost in afterthought a 'sanctuary' that will be destroyed. Also as Daniel describes this sanctuary, it is in a 'wing' area (Temple inserted in this scripture not found in original language) where the Abomination takes place.
Concerning all previous Temple's built by man, we should remember that all altar's of sacrifice were found located in the center of the Temple before the steps of the Holy of Holies where only the high priest might enter, this was not a wing-edge or border area of the Temple. It is important to remember the original covenant regarding these Temple's made by man was broken by man, and regarding Gods Temple of the New Testament now tells us, God will not be found in a 'Temple made by man'. We may then be sure that a man made sanctuary or altar will be placed in the wing of a Temple during this earth age, most importantly it will obviously be built within the remnant of Herods Temple, the last and only construct of man once called Gods Temple. We know today God is in His Temple, this Temple or Sanctuary as described in Revelation has always been in heaven, then who believes Satan will enter Gods heaven and sit himself in Gods throne, only a man could believe such.
It is apparent that Western media will not record the early 1900's and before, when nation empires like France, Germany, and Britain (later America) and others divided and controlled strategic sections of the Far East and Middle East coveting their resources and trade. Nor are reports available how Israel with aid from these empires was able to succeed in their expansion in territory beginning shortly after 1947-8 when Israel was made a State. All that can easily be found is mention of war material aid, still there is little doubt these Super Powers or Empires were covertly involved in the Arab/Israel wars, the outcome as today required keeping control of this region. By 1955 Arab nations such as Egypt had begun cutting Israel off from shipping ports, also by coincidence cutting off Western Empire trade routes, the rest is history requiring a lot of digging to substantiate.
(see website http://www.adl.org/ISRAEL/Record/sinai.asp)
Considering all the prophesies about Israel by man that came to naught, considering all the manipulation and misuse of Israeli people by men of disreputable and evil character, it would be dangerous and wrong to believe or back unconditionally the Zionist State of Israel as presently established. There is little doubt much evil and error has been done to this region of the world, continuing this error will only increase problems and error into the future, and this evidently explaining desolation. There is also little doubt some of our Christian leaders are a part of this error, however it is time for the church to re-commit themselves to the teachings of the Living Word, searching Gods word for true purpose and guidance. Spiritual men today, those who endorse Empires actions of today, apparently perceive themselves as the tail wagging the dog.
In the part of the world today where desolation is to begin, many believe in error they can divide people's into neat little nation's involved as clones of Western Democracies, more accurately seen with eye's of discernment as un-bridled Capitalism and corruption. This fallacy does not recognize Monarchies of Theocratic tribe’s people, nor that these tribes encompass and cross over Western established boundaries. Satan knows of these sect's and their locations, using them and Western leaders to build his kingdom. Iran and Iraq are not independent and separate entities; they are a composite of sect's and peoples overlapping. Western leaders who believe by controlling one nation they control a complete Islamic sect is total foolishness. Satan knows that demeaning one sect in one nation will demean all their brothers of many nations. This reality is obvious if discernment of spirits is put to work.
One last scripture reference used in belief that a Temple is prophesied and must be built in Israel before the return of Christ, this in Ecclesiastes 1:4 "Generations come and generations go, but the earth remains forever." Remember that Ecclesiastes begins disillusioned in spiritual lamenting of how things never change and everything is meaningless. However by the end of Ecclesiastes this spiritual low has changed into praise of God with instruction for others to do the same. Ecclesiastes in this beginning chapter also says there is nothing new under the sun, and this is obviously not literally true, just as my saying I drive straight to work is over simplification. If anyone were to plot a straight course between my home and work, they would find I had driven straight through many houses, trees, and many other obstacles.
I believe that both Old and New Testament promise of God to gather His people was never intended as limited to Judah and Israel or Hebrew only, but includes in all ages those who will come to God through Christ. Listen carefully to Gods promise in re-gathering His people in Ezekiel 39:25-29 "Therefore this is what the Sovereign LORD says: I will now bring Jacob back from captivity and will have compassion on all the people of Israel, and I will be zealous for my holy name. They will forget their shame and all the unfaithfulness they showed toward me when they lived in safety in their land with no one to make them afraid. When I have brought them back from the nations and have gathered them from the countries of their enemies, I will show myself holy through them in the sight of many nations. Then they will know that I am the LORD their God, for though I sent them into exile among the nations, I will gather them to their own land, not leaving any behind. I will no longer hide my face from them, for I will pour out my Spirit on the house of Israel, declares the Sovereign LORD."
Here in Ezekiel we are told in the sight of many nations the Lord would show Himself the true Messiah to the chosen, this apparently by the miracles endowed upon the remnant of the chosen in Jerusalem described in Zechariah 12:8-9 "On that day the LORD will shield those who live in Jerusalem, so that the feeblest among them will be like David, and the house of David will be like God, like the Angel of the LORD going before them. On that day I will set out to destroy all the nations that attack Jerusalem." This leads to the cleansing by grace and supplication of the Lord. Today we have Christian leaders calling themselves Zionists teaching others to help gather Jewish people into the new State of Israel. Knowing the terrible desolation in which most will be killed, and this we are to believe shows Christian love. At the same time they ignore many criminal actions of the secular Zionist government who do the re-gathering into the State of Israel. Note that Gods anger is against those that attack Jerusalem the Holy City, within are a remnant people Israel that God will shield, no mention is made of Israel as a nation.
Consider this present earth-age and it's old promise concerning an everlasting day and night for ever and ever, told of in Genesis 8:22 "As long as the earth endures, seedtime and harvest, cold and heat, summer and winter, day and night will never cease." God is not saying in this verse that this earth would never be destroyed, God gave this promise as assurance (during) this earth-age. Seedtime and harvest, cold and heat, summer and winter, night and day, these are the old order for the man of flesh-nature whose bodies could burn or freeze and needed be sustained from the elements and hunger or perish. This is the earth-age of the Old Promise, think ahead to the New Promise, the New Earth where New Spiritual Bodies find God and His Sanctuary for eternity.
About the Old Promise concerning this present earth-age where day and night has been never ending and everlasting, with it's destruction God is giving us a New Promise of a New Heavens and the New Earth, with the old day and night ceasing as told in Revelation 22:5 "There will be no more night. They will not need the light of a lamp or the light of the sun, for the Lord God will give them light. And they will reign for ever and ever." Within this new promise concerning the gathering; and this to include the entire family of God, of this new promise we are told in Revelation 21:3-4 "He will wipe every tear from their eyes. There will be no more death or mourning or crying or pain, for the old order of things has passed away." This is the Kingdom of Christ foretold during His ministry on earth as not found on this present world.
This New Promise of a New Kingdom comes today with a warning in 2 Peter 3:10-13 "But the day of the Lord will come like a thief. The heavens will disappear with a roar; the elements will be destroyed by fire, and the earth and everything in it will be laid bare. Since everything will be destroyed in this way, what kind of people ought you to be? You ought to live holy and godly lives as you look forward to the day of God and speed it’s coming. That day will bring about the destruction of the heavens by fire, and the elements will melt in the heat. But in keeping with his promise we are looking forward to a new heaven and a new earth, the home of righteousness." This is not like the flood that destroyed the earth (all breathing life); in desolation and judgment we are told 'everything will be destroyed'.
Who cannot see in symbology the vast numbers God speaks of in the re-gathering, bringing Jacob back and having compassion on (all... meaning remnant-elect of) the people of Israel. Neither Israel nor the Gentile will disappear at this time; God wanted one people, using a chosen people. Who cannot see the desolation and the wrath of God that first must occur described as likened to the time of creation, beginning in Israel and Jerusalem the prized city of God, but so complete destruction encompasses the entire world, even to the heavens above. This is described in Luke 21:25-28 "There will be signs in the sun, moon and stars. On the earth, nations will be in anguish and perplexity at the roaring and tossing of
the sea. Men will faint from terror, apprehensive of what is coming on the world, for the heavenly bodies will be shaken. At that time they will see the Son of Man coming in a cloud with power and great glory. When these things begin to take place, stand up and lift up your heads, because your redemption is drawing near." Can you imagine... Revelation 1:7 "Look, he is coming with the clouds, and every eye will see him, even those who pierced him; and all the peoples of the earth will mourn because of him. So shall it be! Amen." Would saints if remaining on earth at the time Christ returns for judgment mourn His coming, or rejoice. Certainly (all the people of earth) at this time (will mourn) because all that remain on earth now are the unredeemed.
Christians must learn to reject the lies and deceit of Satan, knowing instead that now, today, this very minute they reign on earth with Christ in the Kingdom of God within us. This made possible when yet sinners living in flesh nature, hearing and believing the Word of truth, understood we were sinners falling short of the glory of God, but by Christ spiritually dying of our flesh nature, being made alive again with the HS given as deposit and guarantee. So it is not within our flesh nature that we live, but by the Holy Spirit living within us. Also concerning the lies and deceit of Satan, he would rob us of our reward, this being the works (of righteousness) predestined for us, works during our reign with Christ yet in this earth age. Satan would have use believe there are no works required of us, being saved all we need concern ourselves... as he slowly tries in deceit stealing even this from us. Instead we do have works of righteousness serving, meaning reigning with Christ, and as saints fulfilling the purpose of our Lord God. Our reign during the 'Chilioi' or thousands of years during this earth age does not end along with both the heavens and earth, called the old order. Only this old order ends, our reign with Christ is eternal.
