Who Killed The Electric (EV) Car?

Telsa Motors today has a automobile that will go 300 miles between recharging, granted the basic car cost almost $50,000.00, but it must be remembered production doesn't begin until year-2011, and there are but a very few to be found in America today.

The car-battery is apparently 1/5 of the auto cost, which cannot be valid except for patent and minimum produced today. The basic Model-S with 160 mile range between recharge would fulfill the needs estimated for 98% of the citizen's driving in America.

In video's below, compare the Telsa auto with GM EV1 that was destroyed while those that could only lease the car, begged to purchase their leased car instead of having it destroyed.

The following video is example Mega-Corporation control concerning new technologies and products, in this case ending tech/production of a new battery clearly for reasons of greed and lacking any conscience concerning severe ecologic problems caused. The video right shows how scientist Stanford Ovshinsky developed the advanced auto-battery, and how dishonest Corp's manipulated sceintist and battery to block the technology to preserve their own wealth and power.

Notice how these large Corp's take over the inventors technology and product claiming they are large enough to make possible large scale production, and then moved it among these giants like GM and the Oil-Cartel in ordet to finally bury the entire patented product and operation. Inventor Stan Ovshinsky was such a case, developing a battery bought up by GM, who sold it to Chevron/Texaco, afterward no longer seen nor heard of as a EV car battery.
The one and only major problem said limiting an all electric auto (being called anxiety-range), is the battery or energy cell concerning distance of travel between charges, secondarily regarding cost and viable life expectancy. Telsa however now has a 300-mile range system, and IBM is working on a version they call a Lithium-air (LiAir) with 500-miles range between recharge. Another is a team from MIT that are developing a Semi-Solid Lithium Rechargeable Flow Battery that will be lightweight, less expensive, and as quick in re-charging as now filling a gas tank. Of interest is the German DBM Tech auto and battery said with 400-mile range that will last at least a decade of recharge reliability, also a system called the Ultra Capacitor that could work in combination with other storage methods... and it appears this is only a tip of many related research and development ongoing. Another promising yet in research-stage is the Japanese Sumitomo Electric 'Lithium-ion' battery, promising over a 700-mile capacity. At this point in time, it is beginning to appear the greatest limiting factor to a long distant all electric auto is not the battery, but the control of the Fossil Fuel and related Industries, that in the past using the US-Gov stopped America from driving a safe and inexpensive EV car.

Watch these eight video's as soon as possible, my last batch were removed.
