It would seem the batting average of our government is still holding true, a negative zero. In checking into the Birdflu virus that is spoken of as pandemic, it turns out that most H5N-strains are much like Anthrax (also common around animals), and these have been around just as long. Some of the reported cases of BirdFlu being these lesser strains, turning out not to be the dangerous H5N1-strain. Below are some very interesting things I've found in article's about this virus.
According to articles being included as hyperlinks, US media are being used again by the US government to present the "H5N1" birdflu-virus as a "PANDEMIC" and an immediate threat, described by "Experts" as expected shortly to result in untold millions of human deaths. Falsely (inferring) that the dangerous (only to birds) H5N1-birdflu virus (is already) contagious among humans. See what you get out of reports from accredited oceanologist's, scientist's, and other expert's who together are describing any number of world calamities, and as a result the Bush Administration going all out with Bird-Flu vaccine. Today reports indicate that during the years that Asia was hit with the Bird-flu virus H5N1, a total of
64 of the 118 effected people died as a result, the people involved coming into continued daily contact with the infected animals. Sounds familiar, regarding the past "Anthrax scare" doesn't it, people raising domestic animals picking up anthrax. However the extremely dangerous strain of anthrax reported as traced back to one of two Laboratories involved in Pentagon weapons grade Bio/Chem anthrax production.
Compare this with our ocean's where dire warnings are being reported regarding amphibian and aquatic life now in grave danger. Today scientists in alarm are reporting "
Dead Zones" within the oceans of the world. Among the primary causes reported as, UV(b) radiation as a result of
damage to the Ozone layer, another is
over-fishing commercially by almost all nations (causing drastically reduced numbers of larger fish), followed by pollution and ecologic conditions now causing drastically fished out conditions both on shoreline and in deep ocean. Plankton also important is reported sharply rising along shoreline's, while dying out mid-ocean.
After a decade of reported research, in late 1990's US Army scientists were able to recreate or reconstruct the influenza strain called the 1918 Spanish Flu pandemic. This was done by taking samples from a cadaver of a victim who had died from the disease and was buried in permafrost conditions. The reconstructed virus has also been reported to have a striking resemblance to the H5N1 Bird Flu strain, it was also avian in nature. Activists from The Sunshine Project were both alarmed and suspicious that the Pentagon had military researchers studying this dangerous disease. Their statement was, "This kind of research is creating a vicious circle, and could prompt a race by biodefense scientists to genetic engineer unthinkable diseases", says Edward Hammond of the Sunshine Project, "What disease comes after influenza? Biodefense laboratories must not become self-fulfilling prophesy centers. The world does not need biodefense programs to create a 'genetically engineered disease gap'."
Regarding the 64 people who have died (as a result) of the Birdflu virus-H5N1 since its outbreak, consider also many others including Americans during the same number of years, who died of (other common) flu-viruses. It would not surprise me if in this Asian region, that as many or more people died from skin cancer, a direct result of the
Bush Administrations "disinterest" and sabotage of efforts like Kyoto.
This strain of birdflu-virus now has several variations (pandemic only among birds). Reports say it originated in South China area around Hong Kong in late 1990s.
Current Birdflu strains are:
1. H5N1
This is the virus everybody knows about. Basically it is limited to domestic poultry-particularly chickens, ducks, etc. It is not transmitted to humans and does not constitute a threat to human beings.
2. H5N1 7B
This was discovered in July 2004 in Hunan, and its peculiarity is that it is also spread amongst domestic poultry, but the poultry themselves are asymptomatic, showing no symptoms. This is a contagious virus. At present it is restricted to chickens and ducks. After the poultry are infected they become carriers, but with no symptoms. Other animals, including humans, whose food is infected by the poultry develop allergic symptoms, lowered immunity, fatigue, sudden-onset heart spasms, etc.
3. H5N1 9A
This is a virus from Shantou (northern Guangdong province) in November 2004. It is a contagious and does not differ from H5N1 markedly. But the feces of the infected poultry is very unusual. The feces of chickens, ducks and pigs are emptied into fish ponds in some parts of China, and this virus severely attacks fish with particular virulence. The fish bones turn soft, but the reason is not known and needs to be tested in laboratories.
4. H5N1 L33
This is a mutation discovered in 2004. It is unique in that none of the current treatments are effective. It's almost identical to H5N1 except that none of the current drugs can treat it in domestic poultry. Under certain temperatures this virus is very virulent and can even be carried by insects, but so far there have been no human infections.
The only "Expert" I could find advising of "Imminent Danger" and pandemic death from the H5N1 birdflu-virus, is a Dr. David Nabarro (apparently working for UN World Health Org), the son of "SIR" Nabarro of England, at least we were spared Tony Blaire. I'm not saying people in England cannot be trusted, I trusted the Whistle-blower who committed suicide after outing Blaires "sexed-up" Niger Uranium documents (college term paper forgeries). As for the present form of "dangerous H5B1 Birdflu-virus", when mention of its (future) danger, look for words such as "if it mutates into something that spreads among humans." The reason I keep mentioning the H5N1 "dangerous" virus, is that there are a number of similar strains at various level's of being much less or no danger.
Apparently a more "Expert" (Expert) with more expertise in the UN World Health Organization would be
Dick Thompson, who using validated facts and reporting says, "People confuse it with pandemic (H5N1) influenza, but they're very different diseases," Thompson said. "If people just paid attention to the human risk" from bird flu, they'd understand that "the possibility of infection is very low." Now you may understand why I compare the son of "SIR" with Blaire.
At present the main Pharmaceutic Corp. making "Tamiflu" an 'Antiviral' and apparently based upon subjects who caught the disease (after prolonged contact with infected birds), only this and another agent called "ReLenza" are being tested on people. These agent's or vaccine's do not cure the disease, it is a shot taken in protection against getting influenza meaning the disease. A Japanese study using this drug as vaccination of children, found that about 1 of 6 patients afterwards developed a strain resistant to the drug. To date there is no mutated Virus-H5N1 that is communicable between human beings. Any (future) virus that may mutate into such a strain, would likely take a year or more to develop a drug against it, so effectively there is no drug to inoculate humans with. At best what Bush wants stockpiled, is a antiviral in quantity reported enough for about 15% of our population, less than half of what experts say would be needed. At the same time laws have now been changed, these pharmaceuticals now cannot be taken to court for any side effects, including death.
Other interesting reports are that although this virus was first reported in Hong Kong (Southern China) back in 1997, and supposedly traveled through Asia with reported infections so far in 13 nations, the greatest majority (42 of total worldwide 64 deaths) are reported in Vietnam. Also there is concern that the infectious spread among avian's does not appear to be following any migration flight paths of wild birds. Also there are at this time a possible 144 sub-types of the H5 virus.
Side effects are being studied by the European Medicines Evaluations Agency who report the EMEA had evaluated 48 reports of psychiatric side effects from Tamiflu as part of a regular safety review of the drug in July this year. Most - 28 - of those reports had come from Japan, with 10 coming from the US, five from Canada, three from Germany and two from France. They related to serious abnormal psychiatric behavior, such as delirium and hallucinations. Suicides were reported in Japan that are suspected due to this side effect. For report on this H5N1 virus that is of a harmless strain (to both avian and human) found in 1981 & 1985, read Dr. David Halverson report, a University of Minnesota veterinarian. Dr. Halverson said this would seems to indicate little or no gene transfer between wild birds between Asian and the American continents.
A Dr. John Treamor of medicines at the U of Rochester, an investigator for the National Institute of Health says, "We have the vaccine that we're testing, which is based on the current bird flu virus that is infecting humans. If we started to see person-to-person transmission with a virus that was the same as that or that was antigenically similar to the virus that we used to make the vaccine, then we would already have some vaccine and it would be a relatively easy matter to make more, although it would take time. If the virus that emerges is antigenically different from the ones that we've been testing, the technology is there to make the seed virus quite quickly, but then it would take the amount of time that it takes to ramp up production [of a vaccine]." According to science articles this is called "antigenitic drift", and for this reason impossible to say what a virus that spread among humans would be like.
Now would be a good time to ask, is this Avian birdflu "H5N1" really as dangerous as it is being
Hyped up to be? In this Asian area where health statistics are more horrendous than Western nations, does a total of 64 deaths during the years(1999-2005) of crisis actually sound "PANDEMIC?" Are not the great number of deaths those of millions of avian birds both domestic and wild? So, who is (really) getting the benefit from this Birdflu scare-mongering? What scares me is that the last biological scare in America,
anthrax, was identified as strain that came from one of two Chem/Bio Weapons manufacturing Laboratories belonging to the Pentagon. Most medical and science journals on this subject say that before drugs can be developed to fight a virus, the virus is needed to develop such a drug. It does not need repeating, no such mutated H5N1 birdFlu virus has been proven to exist.
Some say that Bush himself is a doofus; my opinion is that he is the mirror image of our entire present government (both DEM & GOP), greedy fools. At a time when we need the best qualified people, we have elected an empirical mindset, along with those to weak to do the job for which they were elected. That is why ordinary people need valid "expert" advise, and the best advice I found was
Dr. Hon Ip, director of the United States Geological Survey's Diagnostic Virology Laboratory at the National Wildlife Health Center in Madison, Wis. Also concerning disease, the
Center for Disease Control (CDC) is also a good place to find information.
Treatment so far has been Neuraminidase inhibitors that are a class of drugs which act on a protein conserved in all influenza A viruses. Drugs of this type include zanamivir and oseltamivir, the latter being licensed for prophylaxis treatment in the UK. Oseltamivir is marketed by Roche as Tamiflu, and this brand has become the drug of choice for governments and organizations in their preparations for a possible H5N1 pandemic. In August 2005, Roche agreed to donate two million courses of Tamiflu to the World Health Organization, to be deployed by the WHO to contain a pandemic in its region of origin.
One statistic that may be indicative of what the (DEM/GOP) US Government and the Bush Administration excel at. During the last 20 years in America, Asthma has increased 400%, and this may be the only good news in comparison to what they may accomplish in the future. In this regard you may have more to worry about
from Delta-Force, than the Birdflu-virus. Unless the Pentagon Chem/Bio Laboratories become involved.
What really worries me, is that these radical element running our "Empire" government may be behind the sudden large-scale deaths of birds or BirdFlu epidemic in Asia. More worrying still is that these deranged people may have a Pentagon (Chem/Bio Lab) human crossover Virus that they may soon be planning to actually use. These people have been hitting bottom in their Military/Industrial "Constabulary" plan for (PNAC) world domination, and animals of this sort when cornered are very dangerous.
